Disclaimer: this is my first time and only 1 night stay in Phi phi island. So, I'm not sure whether the quality of hotel in phi phi is generally like this. I would say: 1/don't get fooled by the pool picture. The pool is indeed nice. 2/but the room quality, I would say ‘ not as good as the swimming pool’ … (I booked the standard upper for ~65 USD, and finally upgrade/top up my room to the superior garden view)- the standard is actually outside of the hotel area, and the building is really spooky.-the superior is actually OK (clean) but it is already very old (the aircon, the water sprayer are all already ‘ brown’)- so from my point of view, this place is really not worth the price.- but again, I'm not sure whether all hotel in phi phi is like this as well or not (bad quality with high price).- because in Phuket, you will for sure get a really nice hotel with that price. 3/the room is actually same with the picture provided, but I would say the photographer did a really good job there.

Habe ein gratis UpGrade für das Luxus beim Pool 😎 vom Zimmer direkt in den Pool. Zuvorkommend und freundliches Personal. Wegen COVID 😷 vieles geschlossen auf Kho Phi Phi, sogar das Café oben bei View Point 2 und View Point komplett geschlossen, der Aufstieg hat sich trotzdem geloht.

Very unfriendly staff and smelly bathroom!

We booked the standard upper floor room, which was actually located outside the resort compound (which is just about 5meters away so no issue). The room is in fact very photogenic, but the actual wasn’t that wow. The upper room had a balcony, TV with local channels and the water does smell when you first open it, but if you let it run then its back to normal. We had an incident of bed bugs though, but was quickly remedied by their staff who were very apologetic. We got moved to another room which was cleaner, thereafter we were upgraded to a bungalow room. Overall our 2 nights at this hotel was good, breakfast filled our stomachs, it was right by the beach. Though its about 20-30mins away from port, if you have big luggages, call the hotel to make sure there is a bellboy waiting for you at the port (none for us, but didn’t bother us since we just had backpacks). On our way back to Phuket, there was a cart and a bellboy who helped us. Will recommend this hotel if you want to be far away from the partying, but still close enough to enjoy the beach.
