We did not have breakfast in the restaurant. We had dinners and they were fantastic. Staff was excellent during our stay,however , One staff member was quite rude when i was checking out. She kinda rushed me out and made me feel like i didnt belong there and i was quite offended. The room was clean and nice . The common areas had more than 1 hole in the wall. We mentioned it when we saw but nothing was done about . The restaurant staff was incredible , we celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary and we enjoyed it immensely.

Highly recommend one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, bonus points for being dog friendly.

Views were incredible and staff very firndkyband helpful! While it rained hard the entire time we were there, it did not dampen our stay one bit!!

The view from the hot tub is amazing. It’s about a 20 minute walk into town for shopping and restaurants. The rooms are spacious. The staff at the front desk are wonderfully friendly.

A lodge stay is where it's at if you're planning on cooking between exploring! Full kitchen, large washroom and doors to separate the bedroom, bathroom, and living room are great! Very clean and relaxing! We chose the pet-friendly lodge for our stay.

Front desk and spa staff were amazing. The hotel is gorgeous and is located on Big Beach so beach walks are readily available. Restaurant was okay but not as good at the rest of the hotel. The oceanfront views are spectacular. Book today, you won’t be disappointed.

only 1 hot tub was working and only 1 restaurant opened. sofa bed was very uncomfortable. the property was fabulous.

Overall a nice stay. Plunge pool is cold so don't plan on swimming laps. Also be prepared to walk outside through the parking lot to get to the hottub from your room if you are not in the lodge itself.

We always love staying at Black Rock Oceanfront Resort. The rooms are consistently clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s an especially great place to stay if you’re traveling with pets—they thoughtfully provide dog beds, blankets, and bowls, which makes a big difference. During our most recent stay, we were also pleasantly surprised by their extra effort in helping us celebrate a special occasion. With very short notice, they arranged a birthday card and cookies for my husband, which was such a kind and memorable touch. The only downsides this time were that there were some carpenter ants in the room (likely due to the spring season), and the lounge was under renovation, so we weren’t able to enjoy drinks there. Additionally, we’d love to see a bit more variety on the breakfast menu at the restaurant, as that’s where we dined during our stay. Overall, it’s still one of our favorite places to visit, and we look forward to coming back again.

Clean and spacious room with beautiful ocean view! The setting of this resort and proximity to trails is outstanding. Hot tub/ plunge area not the cleanest with discarded towels and other items lying around. Fitness area not ideal as people walk through it to get to the hot tub/ plunge pool. Breakfasts were great, but unfortunately not the best dining experience with dinner. We waited nearly 25 min. for service one evening and then had a subpar meal.

The room was great, many comforts, Staff and restaurant was good with a great view, One of the hot tubs was closed so with the other one being small it was crowded, GYM was small and made even smaller with the constant flow of people going thru the GYM because it was the only entrance into the Pool and Hot Tubs, Could have a indoor Play area for Children, But I would go Back

Fantastic stay in a rain forest environment! Great storm watching!

Just steps away from the Wild Pacific Trail. The resort had everything we needed.
