Wonderful location. Beautiful building and rooms. Such a lovely lobby restaurant. The people were lovely.

String Odor/smell that they were trying mask with a deodorizer. Smell was of mold and sewage. Particularly around the elevator and to some extent on the floors. Staff was pleasant but not really helpful. Attached restaurant and bar staff were not interested in taking orders for food or drink. Do not count on a 6:30 am breakfast, coffee was there but not much else.

This hotel is very central. I chose it for its proximity to the departure point for my Viator tours - just a short 5 minute walk away. It is a charming and lovely hotel with a great bar and restaurant. It's theme is around the Antarctic explorer Ernest Shackleton which gave it an old-fashioned, old-worldy feel of sophistication and elegance. The room was very comfortable with modern amenities though there was no air conditioning but a window that opened kept the room comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and all of them spoke English - if you know a little Spanish you might find that helpful though. This is a hub for Silver Seas, so there was a lot of coming and going activity of large groups, but that did not inconvenience me at all. The food was very good at the restaurant. A very central location - puts you in the heart of the city and a short walk to the ocean. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Charming, classic beautiful hotel in the heart of Punta Arenas. Excellent staff. Lovely room with plush bedding & towels. Very safe area. Parking on site. On site restaurant is excellent.

The service was marginal at best and the room was very small without any real amenities. The breakfast was satisfactory, but nothing extra extraordinary.

Friendly staff (someone on duty at all hours was very useful for late arrival/early start) nice building, good location. Our room was relatively small and dark as half the window had been bricked up.

The staff needs little more training to be attentive to customers .

Staff not very helpful came in 1 minute past 20 and they wouldn’t feed us and do we went to bar then we had to hunt down someone to serve us Was leaving on tour before breakfast and they would get us a breakfast box or anything atall to take with us

Room clean and staff are really nice

Very pleasant and comfortable rooms in a well maintained historic building. Restaurant is good for lunch and dinner too. My only demerit is that staff will ring quite late, apparently not aware some people sleep before midnight.

The hotel is really beautiful, the rooms are a little small, but comfortable, the bed are also cozy and very clean. the breakfast is good enough, but we have a bad experience in our first breakfast, the staff in the breakfast was very rude and unpolite, we were the only people at the breakfast room, but no one came to check if we need anything. but in general we have a good experience

The bar area, was nice. Food looked good, but was always cold.

Room was a little smaller than expecting but still comfortable. However the wifi in the room was barely existent. Would continuously disconnect and re-connect, or need password reset. Amazing restaurant, great bathroom.
