The Expedia booking page shows this villa to be located near the center of Ubud; however, the villa is actually located some 45 minutes drive from Ubud. The villa, the pool and the surrounds are beautiful and peaceful when the shooting and fireworks stop. The sound of the pigs squealing is faint in the distance. The house staff is attentive and ensure that the bills for house food service of ramen noodles with egg are promptly presented for payment in cash. The 200 meter path from the parking area down to the villa is good exercise especially when scaling the hill to exit the villa. The cobble stone paving is attractive but challenging for anybody but the young and fit.
