It’s a charming hotel with an excellent location for restaurants and good shopping, very close to the lake and all transport. As it’s a small hotel in an old building, its facilities are very limited: just a restaurant and terrace which provides all-day decent dining, good value and good service.there is neither a gym nor a pool. The room Amenities are very good. The staff is all helpful and friendly. It has a sister hotel right next door which is bigger, with a good Lebanese restaurant that has a spacious balcony extension space, good service and reasonable prices.

The room that we were given was dark with little natural light. However, the main issue was the bathroom. When I booked this hotel on Expedia I thought I had booked a room with a shower/bath as advertised. Unfortunately this was not the case. All it had was a hand held shower. In addition, there was no shower curtain/screen, so the water would go all over the floor making it a health hazard. We could easily have slipped and hurt ourselves especially as the bath was so high I had to help my wife get in and out of it and she in turn had to help me due to my medical conditions. When I told the reception clerk about this he seemed rather flippant and said the cleaner would mop the bathroom floor. Not quite the attitude one would expect.

Really enjoyed the one night there. Terrific location. Staff very helpful on what was an early arrival and helping fix some plans that went sideways. Small drawback to what was a generously sized, clean and nicely appointed room was the inside stairway down to the room (old European building!) of about 15 steepish steps. OK for us, though a chore to take luggage back up on departure.

Das Hotel ist im Grossen und Ganzen gut. Die Zimmer haben leider zu wenig Steckdosen zB für Laptop, Handy etc.
