Plenty of parking. Friendly reception that entertained my French and reverted to English when required. Pet friendly. Good value.

Good value overnight stay. Generally clean but tired. Caution, the drains in bathroom 101 stink!

Great reception. Very helpful staff. Room comfortable. Great bathroom. The hotel is very well situated next to a shopping centre. There is also a restaurant next door, "l'atelier" where you get 10% off meals with the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and the staff was helpful.

The hotel is dated and looks a little worn. But the best part was the incredible staff that helped make sure our stay was great. Without the staff this would have been a 3 star review.

Worst hotel experience ever! The room was very dusty and dirty as though no one had stayed in the room for years. Spiders and spider webs at several spots in the room, and I’ve never seen such dirty carpet in a hotel room before. We also had to live with a huge fly in the room for the 2 days. The lime scale on the shower head was terribly yucky although the bathroom and toilet itself was the cleanest spot in the entire room. We had 2 people stayed in the room but only 1 bath towel was provided. There was another bath towel placed in the closet but apparently it was used and dirty. On the morning during checkout time, there was no one at the front desk and we waited for 15 min until someone finally came out, there was obviously a lack of staff as the staff was saying she was the only person managing the front desk, kitchen, and the rooms. She asked me how was my stay and I told her my honest opinion, she was then only giving me a shrug and not so sincere apology. I travel a lot and this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed.

Only stayed one night - arrived very late and left early the next morning. Friendly staff greeted us on arrival, the room was clean and breakfast buffet was outstanding! Conveniently located near the incredible Caen Memorial Museum and the Caen airport.

I arrived at the hotel at 01:00, the reception staff was very efficient and friendly. The room and facilities were excellent for my requirements.

The rooms are fairly new though are starting to show some wear and tear. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not worth the money, there's a great bakery around the corner and it's cheaper. Overall, it was what I paid for, nothing more, nothing less.

We had to wait over 5 min before someone came to check us & another guest in, which felt much longer since we had been traveling all day & were tired. The place looked a bit run down, walls needed to be wiped clean in our room, we had to ask for additional pillows, there was no sheet between us & the comforter & there were cobwebs in the room. If you need a place to sleep that is cheap, in more ways than one, this is your place. The location was great.

Overall a great stay….except the breakfast we paid 10 euros each for the worst food on our travels,scrambled egg must of been an hour old you couldn’t put your knife into the sausage,the bacon looked like cut up scraps overall very poor not worth 1euro , shame really the staff, room and hotel were great.

This property was great as our base for D Day trips

Great choice for an overnight stop, very clean & well equipped with large comfortable beds and incredibly friendly, helpful staff at an affordable price.

Good hotel but beware. I prepaid through Expedia but when I checked in they asked for a $67 “deposit” for damages that was supposed to be credited back to my acct. They ended up keeping this money. I have called three times and three times I’ve been told by Phil that I would get an email and the cash returned to my card but I haven’t received anything. No email, no refund. Even worse is that I have to pay for the calls from the US to France to try to solve this. Beware!

Great stay, friendly helpful staff, comfy bed, quiet room, quality windows and doors that keep any noise out. Good lighting in the room. Good breakfast too. Could do with a better chair to sit at the desk in the room, that’s my only negative comment.
