I always love staying here. There 's Grocery, Restaurants, and even laundry within the compound of the Hotel so perfect for week-long business trips in Baguio.

Great place to stay! Wide spread of Breakfast Buffet. Airconditioned room but it 's cold in the area so you won't be needing it. Fast Internet for those who need to work like me. Kind staff. Smiles everywhere. Until next time!

Pros: best thing here is their staff. Customer centricity at its best. Easy check in check out. Place is new and clean. Request higher floor was granted. Breakfast is yummy with lots of choices. Across the street from botanica garden, on the way to mines view. Cons: hot shower is either hot or cold. Can't do anything to make it warm, so be boiled or frozen. And the room is really hot. Even with the fan. We can't open the window because the room is facing someone house hahah a bit weird to look at each other. Overall. Still a good hotel. Just need to choose a diff room.

Good location but not able to rest because their room is not sound proof. We can hear every single noise of other rooms. The room on our right side is making noise until 3am, maybe they are drinking alcohol or drunk. We can hear them slamming the wall. I wasn't expecting this will happen on our vacation!

First, we had a hard time contacting the hotel as we will be late in checking-in. They don't answer the phone (landline number is the one published) then when I was able to get through the mobile number, someone drop my call and after 15mins I received a message to text them of what I needed. FYI, I already sent a text message 2 hours before I made the call and no one acknowledge my message so I made the call. Only when I followed-up, they were able to acknowledge. Upon arrival, the hotel were full of people. We checking-in was not a breeze. You need to wait given that our room should be ready by that time. The bell boy who assisted us on our bags are great and they are very helpful. Surprised when we reached the hall way to our room given that the room is at 7F, the hall way smells like food being cooked at the restaurant in the ground flood so I guess they have a problem with their exhaust fan. The room was huge but its not that clean unfortunately. In the bathroom, you can see rust everywhere and the glass cup for toothbrush is not thoroughly cleaned. The bathroom doesnt have a bidet, you even need to ask for a "tabo". There is no bathroom mat so we asked for one. To our surprise, the bathroom mat was colored light gray already from being white before. Anyway, it serve it purpose. In this kind of hotel, we also expect a mini ref but it doesn't have one. Even small hotels have one, but for this big hotel..it was a fail. Breakfast- yes its buffet but we rather eat out than to eat again there. The rice was cold and the meat is very tough. I tried the dried fish but its not even crunchy. The coffee doesn't taste good which is sad. Upon check-out, the hotel receptionist asked me to wait at the lobby while she asked someone to check out room. She said that she'll advise me once its cleared. So I waited...after almost 30 minutes (which is super long based on my experience)..I went up to her again and asked if our room is cleared and we are ok to leave. She just said oh yes, you are good to go....no apology. I just kept my cool and promised my self to never book in this hotel again!!!!!!

When we arrived at the hotel, we checked in earlier than 2pm which was the actual check in time. We we’re told to wait until 2PM because the room that we reserved wasn’t ready yet. We came back at exactly 2PM and we were told once again to wait because the room wasn’t ready and the staff wanted to find another available room instead and told us to wait again. My disappointment here is that I booked a room early and expected to have it on time. Please be punctual on your bookings because people are tired from a long trip only to be put on hold. Also, the beds feel weak, they don’t seem sturdy at all. They shake with the slightest movement, it’s sort of scary. Aside from all that, everything else is good.

Still the best experience with this hotel after almost 5 times stay. This time with family and kids. Cleanliness and food remain the top reasons for check in in here. Worth the price and definitely will be coming back. The pool heater is under repair so swimming in this kind of cold weather will be a challenge. Overall, happy customer here.

We love the buffets. The acoustic duo every Sat. night is awesome. Rooms are clean, front desk staff are courteous. Resto staff are polite and accommodating. All good in this hotel.

It’s not awesome, but it’s also not unsatisfying, it’s somewhere in between. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and the lobby was full of people, it was crowded and very noisy due to the merienda buffet being offered by the hotel’s resto, Elements. Check-in wasn’t smooth either, it was so hard to hear the front desk guy who was doing the check in, they are multitasking, so it wasn’t so organized, but they’re friendly so I admire that. We were given our key cards, but when we got to the room, both cards were not working, we couldn’t open the door. So I had to go back to the lobby to have the cards activated. This happened again on our 2nd day. I had to ask them to activate the cards twice. The carpet on the 7th floor hallway is really really dirty, full of dark stains, so it’s not pleasing to see. I am very particular with this kind of thing. It would be good if they can do a carpet wash or perhaps change the whole carpet altogether. The room is nice and clean. Beds are very comfortable. Water pressure is strong, but the water in the shower is not so warm. Since Baguio has a cool temperature, it would be really nice if the water can go a little bit warmer. Breakfast buffet was good, simple but satisfying. They changed their menu on the 2nd day, so it was good because there’s variety. Overall, our stay was comfortable. The hotel can still improve their services and maintenance.

It is the Undas long weekend holiday and we were scheduled to do our annual Manaoag trip. This means Baguio is just another 1.5hrs away so up to the City of Pines we went. Due to rushed preparation, our usual Camp John Hay hotel was not available so this gave us the opportunity to Newtown Plaza Hotel. The (slightly) heated swimming pool swayed us.  PROS: 1. Centrally located and walkable to and/from Botanical Garden, Wright Park and The Mansion. 2. Big rooms with 2 double beds. 3. Buffet breakfast tasted really good and spread was generous for the room rate. We also tried their Dinner buffet and it was also very good. Lots of shrimps, sashimi, roast beef, dimsums. Plus their restaurant manager, chef and crew were all warm and accommodating. 4. Baguio hotel with (slightly) heated pool! Enough said. Could be improved: 1. Standard Room was dimly lit. No bedside tables. Please even just one. 2. Standard Room faces the back/residential view so expect a barrage of rooster crowing as early as 5am. Don' t know how the hotel can improve this? 3. No bidet. Come on, me abang na sa CR kulang nalang handheld bidet. Please follow through. Overall, a good choice for family with kids and not too picky with their hotel accommodation. But the food is definitely worth it.

My mistake I didn't check the amenities of the room. To my surprise, the room doesn't have A/C! It's only having a fan. I can't imagine a hotel with such a rating of 4 that doesn't have an A/C. another one is the towel. my suggestion is to change all the towels or else, do bleaching to make it more whiter. Breakfast is overrated, the cereal section doesn't have nuts. Wi-Fi is not reliable. Food is okay. nothing special. room is not maintained. overall, the experience is okay. staff are all polite and helpful. will not comeback but i will recommend to others with reminders.

It’s just a bit noisy at night. You can hear the vehicles in the street. But it has a really nice view.

The hotel and facility is great, they even provide buffet for breakfast. Despite all the greatness from this hotel however we find out that our room WiFi is sucks, not able to connect at all!
