To be honest, I had so much expectation with Oriental Legazpi as it is one of the top star hotels in Legazpi. First, they got us in at 2:30PM, that was us asking them if our room is already ready for the third time. Implying that if we did not ask, they wouldn’t let us in. Second, the AC in the room needs to be turned on manually, no remote (so you have to keep standing whenever you need to turn on the AC. Third, the pool was dirty, chairs by the pool are wrecked. Lastly, which is the most disappointing part, the airport shuttle. They forgot our reservation. We were scheduled to be picked by 1:00, around 12:45 no one was asking or calling us, by 1:00pm after asking about the shuttle. The guy said that the van going to the airport has already left. Pros: A big thumbs up on their accommodating and courteous staffs. The room looks very expensive. the bed is very comfortable, there were a lot of food choices on their free breakfast buffet and it was delicious and it gets better if you are seated overlooking on the mayon volcano. Their infinity pool was for me the best view you can have in Legazpi. They also have a fire dance show on specific days, it was very entertaining. Cons: No extra lock features provided except your door knob. And someone 'accidentally' unlocked the door a few minutes after we settled our things inside the room. The air conditioners were not properly working, it doesn't get colder than 23 degrees Celsius. A neighboring guest also encountered similar issue, and this also happened on the patio when we were having our breakfast buffet. A pack of wet wipes is also needed when going to loose a bowel since there's no bidet provided for a 6000+ pesos accommodation.

The room has a lot of ants and cockroaches. I also see spider in the bed frame just a second when I sit in the bed in our first day. I also buy sour candies for supposed to be challenge video that I just want to film however, the next morning I saw two small cockroaches were inside the plastic of my sour candies and that disgust me so much. I also saw another two in the bathroom. And the ants is on the walls as well. Its so horrible and feel so disappointed knowing that its Oriental Legazpi Hotel

oriental hotel experience was awesome.. the room, pool and its amenities were great.. the only thing was its food order.. it took us long for them to deliver it at our room.. so we decided to just eat at jasmine restaurant.. it was pricey.. over all 4 stars for this hotel.. 😊

Breathtaking view of Mayon was priceless. Everything else is costly 😉

It was awesome since I had a great sleep. However, there are few slight mishaps that occurred along the way. Check-in took a while since the hotel was overbooked and we had to request for toiletries since the room we occupied had none whatsoever.

We truly enjoyed our overnight stay at The Oriental Legazpi. Everything is awesome - from the modern interior design, friendly and helpful staff, amazing fire dance, clean room and pool/jacuzzi, great food and the stunning view of Mt. Mayon. Will surely recommend this to my friends and family and will definitely come back!

Was disappointed with their services. We requested something from our room, we have to follow up numerous times regarding that, but in the end, we expected for nothing. They didn't bother to notify us that they couldn't give that one simple thing we requested.

Our stay was very satisfying. Facilities and hotel staff are pleasant. It is just that our check-in time was delayed due to some circumstances. If the hotel staff may permit, you may request for a room facing the beautiful Mt. Mayon. :)

We had an amazing stay in this hotel, staffs are very accommodating, breakfast buffet are delicious and it has an amazing view of Mt. Mayon.

I book this room for my parents' wedding anniversary, expecting the best but the hotel just fine, as they check in, in FO just give the key, & nobody assist them in going to the room, as I am working also in the hotel that is a standard to feel the guest welcome, you have to assist the guest in their room and tell everything they need in the room, how to use things inside and so on. And the breakfast is 6-10 am but they have there breakfast around 8 o'clock, the food is almost finished and nobody refills the foods, is just like they are eating the leftovers of the others guest. I hope this comment will help them to improve the service and the experience that they are giving to the guest.

The place itself is really nice, hotel staffs were very polite and has admirable hospitality. Buffet breakfast was very nice too. However I got disappoint on them upon checking in, they said we have no reservation and there's a need to verify our voucher from the app which I think was missing on their system. Good thing our reserved room was available that time, but what if it is not? But overall we are happy with our stay and still recommend this hotel. :)

It was an awesome experience for my family as we stayed there for staycation part of our vacation. The ambiance was relaxing. The swimming pool was good which became better with the perfect view of mayon. Over all, it was a nice experience for us.

We loved the swimming pool with a Mayon View...awesome!!! The staff were nice and courteous. The Christmas designs was fabulous and pleasant...we've felt the spirit of Christmas. The food was good and with variety to choose from. The room was good but needs some improvements and also the gym. Need to add a playroom for kids. The lobby was cozy and has a beautiful chandelier. Overall...we enjoyed our stay!!! Ooops and the fire dance...my daughter enjoyed it, especially the last performance with fireworks effect. Thanks!
