The room is spacious, cosy and welcoming. The inroom onsen was very relaxing and nice and the staff is very friendly and warm. Recommended!

A little hard to get there but once there is a very nice place to stay

It's an old hotel. But it makes up for it with it's charm. Great breakfast buffet

Wonderful ryokan experience! The room and building were great; the staff polite, helpful, and cheerful. The full-course dinners were spectacular. The bath houses were the best part- incredibly spacious, with soaps provided.

All five star. Free shuttle bus running between the train station and hotel. Breakfast included was amazing. Plate painting is something memorable. Highly recommended for those who want an authentic onsen exiting Japan.

半露天風呂付きの客室を利用したが、窓から見えるのが駐車場でガッカリした。桜が咲いていたので少し紛れたが、値段と釣り合っているとは思えなかった。あれでは、半露天風呂の意味もないと感じた。

食事が夜も朝のバイキングも大変美味しかったです

刺青の方がお風呂😌♨に入っていたのが、残念でした😅

食事中のお皿を下げるタイミングが少し 強引な場面がありました それ以外は設備も快適さも満足できました

Hotel is clean and tidy, with more than enough amenities and Yukata provided in amenities room next to lobby. Staff are very helpful with and speaking different languages. Room is spacious and clean. Just the onsen itself is not very impressive.

4人女子旅でしたが、お部屋も広く 食事は　特別なビールから前菜もすき焼きも とても美味しく　おなかいっぱい食べました

以前利用したときと同様、スタッフの気遣いがとても素晴らしくお風呂も食事も良かったです。 一点だけ、洋室でしたがトイレがユニット式なので仕方ないのですがかなり狭く感じました。 また利用させて頂きたいと思います。

食事がとても美味しかったです。 また山形へ行く時は泊まりたいです。

今回の旅行は20年前ほど私が独身最後に古窯に家族旅行をしたことがあり、その時のイメージがとても良く残っており、父親が亡くなり、もう一度母親を父親と行った古窯に連れて行ってあげたいと思い行かせて頂きました。旅行前に母親が足が悪いので介護用の椅子の有無を連絡したところ、お部屋のお風呂にも準備して頂き、お部屋もエレベーターすぐの部屋で、食事会場もエレベーター近くの部屋を準備して頂き、とっても心遣いがかんじられて、嬉しかったです。本当にありがとうございました。 家族のとても良い思い出になりました。
