The name of the hotel is truly correct, it is a well Hidden location (especially with all the surrounding road constructions. The layout of the hotel is a bit unusual, however, based on the artistic effort placed on the design of the hotel it is worth acceptance. Design of the room is unique, artistic in mind, not so much for functionality. However, it is also acceptable. The hotel provide an accent China feel with modern touch. It will always standout as a unique experience. Glad to have found this place, and would recommend anyone to give it a try.

Nice hotel in a peripheral location. Taxi fares are low therefore it’s fair

Do not fool by the pictures. It looks nice but the quality of things in the room is very poor. Of course there are good things e.g. the staff is nice. 1. The door of the room is horrible. It is so thin and squeaky. Not to mention how horrible the audio-proof is. In the morning, you are guaranteed to be waken up by the housekeeping staff in the hallway. 2. The AC is really loud, making me feel like I was sleeping on the street. It's a relatively new hotel so I don't understand how the quality of the AC is so awful. The first night, the hotel didn't even have AC working, which I was pretty unhappy about. They should have informed the guest at check-in that they won't have AC ready by the night. Chengdu is 30C that day, and I'm not good with heat so it was scary to find out at night that the AC is not working. But the staff did offer me a fan in the end. 3. There's no light in the shower room. If you like showering in darkness ... go for it. 4. Materials and things they use to furnish the room is really poor. The paint on the wall ... the smelly slippers (it's toxic) ... you name it. 5. There's nothing around the hotel BTW. I didn't check the location much before booking. So do not repeat my mistake.
