There is also shuttle bus service to and from Kakunodate. Need to be reserved in advance. Maybe a good idea from Kakunodate becuase there are not so many trains to

Clean & comfortable Japanese ryoken with a great onsen and dining. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and happy to assist with any questions or requests. I would definitely stay here again.

We do not like the shared washrooms and there were no basic bervage seeved (coffee, kettle, etc)
