Bring your own wash cloths. There are mice outside running on the property so get used to that. Staff was friendly. The cleaning crew will open the door after a soft knock so be prepared. They change sheets mon, wed, friday. I would not stay here again but it may be a place for others to stay. The mall is within walking distance. That's a plus. Decent neighborhood.

Quiet, clean, quick check in, excellent for single travelers

Personalen på boendet var fantastisk tillmötesgående med våra önskemål. Rekommenderar boendet alla dagar i veckan. Nära riktigt bra restauranger dessutom. Lägenheten var stor och fräsch. Möjligen var det lite lyhört, men inte så det störde. Stora balkonger.

Staff extremely courteous & went the extra mile for me especially in the face of my husband suffering a heart attack and unfortunately dying. They were professional, caring and kind to me and my family during this very traumatic & unexpected family tragedy.

The staff at reception is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and felt like home away from home. I would recommend that they add a sachet of milk with the complementary coffee. Otherwise my stay was pleasant.

Absolutely a gem!

We loved our stay, the place is spacious and reasonably priced all while offering equipment ANYONE would need on a stay. Even when traveling from far. It was very convenient and incredible, we actually decided that every hotel booking we make in JHB will be made at THE MINT... it's out new spot. Keep it up!

Convenience, quietness even though near a main road.

Tive problemas com o barulho durante minha estadia, pois no meu quarto ao lado eles estavam em reforma então eu acordava sempre ao som de batidas de reforma. Porém pedi pra me realocarem pra outro quarto e fui atendida. No geral, o bairro é bom e seguro. Achei a limpeza dos quartos fraca, banheiro sujos.

Ótima localização, perto de shopping, supermecado, tudo! A acomodação também esta em boas condições.

Pictures were way better than in person. The sheets and towels were stained. There looked like a blood stain on the pillow case. We asked for them to swap out the sheets and towels but they said the housekeeping staff went home already and couldn't support. Needless to say, we were concerned for our health and safety. Therefore, we had to leave the property and book another hotel which was inconvenient. There were also two handprints on the wall next to a panic button. This made us even more uneasy. I reached out about a refund but they haven't responded or taken action. I'm hoping I can receive a refund as soon as possible.

This might possibly be my home away from home.

A big complex with too many appartements.

Nice and specious rooms. Full kitchen and laundry was in the room. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a fine basic residential apartment. I had a nice stay and no major problems. The wifi was fine. The kitchen is sparsely supplied. The A/C worked well. The rooms were serviced well. Sometimes the gate was unlocked and unattended at night. I think there is a sewage leak in the main parking lot, which was unpleasant. The mattress could do with being replaced. There is a nice restaurant on one side; but there is a squatter dwelling on the other side.

Upon our arrival, the apartment we reserved (and paid for) was not available. Now they refuse to provide a refund. The front desk people insisted that it was a "computer error." If so, it's THEIR problem, not mine.
