We only stay one night at The Lilac Rose, and wished we could have stayed longer. Our hosts were fantastic, helpful and kind….also great chefs! Welcomed with coffee and a baked treat, and breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend!

Het is een prachtige locatie, erg schoon en rustig. De eigenaren waren erg aardig en konden veel vertellen over de omgeving. Ralph het hondje is erg aanhankelijk en vriendelijk.

did not end up staying there . very hard to find the place ,not inviting from the outside and no where to park , A tiny little plaque with the name of it on the fence . no prior communication about where to park or how to get in the gate.

We were warmly welcomed by the owners. The place is lovely, clean and we had a comfortable stay. Also, our request for an early breakfast was promptly accommodated. The dogs are adorable and friendly. Will definitely return again.

Denis and Pam were lovely; we felt like guests in a beautiful home and not like we were in a hotel. The bed was comfortable, the room was well-appointed, and the bathroom was luxurious. The breakfast was outstanding, as was the hosts’ company, including two adorable dogs. It was a short drive to everything we wanted to see and do in Christchurch, and a bus stop was close by. We highly recommend a stay here.
