Pool didn't work. Sauna didnt work. Hot tub unavailable.

They didnt have my reservation and it was under new ownership

Little to no effort put forth. Wasn’t made aware that the hotel was under renovation and no amenities were available. Until after I got to the property. The places they recommended for food were not appetizing. I was overcharged and they did not honor hotels.com pricing and they also had nothing for breakfast not even bread. Stake cereal and outdated premade sausage muffins.

Overall was a good stay, first morning there was no breakfast and the second morning there was barley any, the lights need work and the hallway music was to loud could hear it in the room.

The pool area was shut down, no tv service , dining and bar was closed due to new ownership. Not the experience that we are used to at this location. Very disappointed.

Well this is the first time we were not to happy with the new owners. We choose the resort because its a half way point. We enjoy what you offer. The staff was excellent and you put them in a position to let us know no pool, no service with tv.no change for laundry, no restaurant. We were there 5 nights four days. We travel from Wisconsin to Illinois and back. Either stay closed until your properly prepared. If it wasn't for the staff I would have nothing good to say. Staff excellent!!!!

The living space was nice, but the bathroom was old and needed to get redone… The shower only went to my dress because it’s so short and the fan was really loud. Also, the pool was down and the restaurant was closed and the breakfast was not that good. People at the desk were very nice though.

Pool & hot tub were closed due to heat issues. Not major but kinda disappointing. Was notified the by phone call about 3 hours prior to checkin. Unfortunately no other hotels available due to sporting event in area. Shower head was great if you are 4ft tall. I’m 6’2. Overall nothing special but very accommodating otherwise. Very nice workout room. Sauna was operating

Hotel needs major updates. The elevator was out, our room was on the 2nd floor. We were not told ahead of time.

Booked a suite but gave me a standard room. Other 2 suites were booked so changed to a 3rd suite style they have minus fireplace, jetted tubs, and porch/patio. Great on getting me moved but paid for the extras that were excluded.

The worker at the front desk was extremely rude the lady who checked us in failed to mention that the hot tub and pool was closed if they would have mentioned it I would have cancelled this reservation

The beds are firm with tiny pillows. The building is old and needs updates. The room was quiet and furnished nicely.

It’s a decent hotel. Older resort that needs updating. It’s a reasonable place to stay and it’s clean. Nice bar and restaurant.

The room was ice cold. Took hours for the heat to warm the room to 70.

This is a beautiful resort that needs some TLC. The pool and hot tub need paint refreshed as it looks like it’s full of algae when you first see it. Rooms were not cleaned well and we did not have housekeeping for 4 days even though we asked about it and had to keep asking for towels and toilet paper. Even when the housekeeping did come on our last day all they did was add towels and toilet paper. Bed was not made, floor was not swept. Might be a different story during high season but during off season it was not great. We did really appreciate the waitress and bartender in the restaurant. They were super friendly and helpful in recommending various tourist attractions, delicious places to eat and places to check out in the area.

The pricing for this property is very reasonable however, I guess because it’s an off-season they do not have very good staffing. The staffing also doesn’t speak any English. This being the housekeeping staff which is very inconvenient. The booking process is another challenge as Expedia’s room types do not cover all of the room types available at the property.
