there is good tea on arrival and their staff Amy really picked us up from the taxi on the street and helped us with our luggages all the way inside. The hotel was easy to communicate with, on expedia and i had asked them to make arrangements for a pickup from the train station which was done for a good price. (Far cheaper then if i had booked a transfer online or with a travel agency). they wanted to upgrade us to show us their best room but i disliked the idea of packing and unpacking for only 1 night and i was satisfied with what i have booked so i declined, but they did show me the room and it was nice. The breakfast included was good and you have an option between chinese breakfast and western. The room is clean, zen-like and beds are comfortable. Everything was functioning well i.e airconditioning and there was complimentary toiletries and a hair blower in the room. I did slip in the bathroom once but i was not wearing their provided bathroom slippers. The hotel is small, beside the river, and is not far from the main downtown but its location is kind of in a dubious area. Appears safe though, even when we ventured out on our own at night. They also offered their own food tour which i once again declined because of time constraint. The main appeal of the hotel for me was really Amy. She spoke good english and assisted me on multiple things like calling cabs, getting taxi cost estimates and even called the hotel on the next city in our itinerary to ask about pickup.
