The bathroom was a joke. The showerwas broken and yoi could not avoid flooding.

A fantastic accommodation experience! Spacious room with nice design (looks much newer than the photos), very practical with a small kitchen, and super clean. Great location and very helpful staff. Will definitely choose it again when we go to Düsseldorf!

Great location, walking distance to the train station and public transportation. Also walking distance to main attractions in Duesseldorf, including the river and old town. The front desk staff couldn't have been nicer at checkin and in assisting with a room change to the less sunny side of the building. Late July stay brought very warm temperatures. The building structure is a combination of hotel rooms and apartments, such as the one we booked. They asked if we would be cooking in the apartment, and as we do "eat from the grocery store and local bakeries", they promptly brought cookware, serveware and utensils to the room. As we prepared our meals, we didn't observe the buffet offerings. Wifi was strong and consistent. Minor maintenance issues were handled promotly when we were out for a day of exploration. The staff attitude was very positive. We would definitely stay at this accommodation again, should we be in Duesseldorf.

Boarding house is sub-brand of Hotel Asahi; you use Asahi check in and rooms are in the hotel; suite style with kitchenette. Cheekily although we booked @ Boarding House they tried to put us in regular rooms.
