The location of this property is superb!

Einfaches Check-In. Gute Lage, zu Fuss schnell erreichbar

The property location was good for what I needed during my stay. Was close to laundromat and places to eat for the short while I was there.

This is a nice property, accurate in the description and photos. We stayed for one night. It was fine, but there are two things to note that may or may not be important to a traveller. First, while the location is very convenient for walking, it is quite inconvenient if you have a car. It is very difficult to get to the apartment with a car to drop bags, and then it is even more difficult to find parking. We ended up parking in the city parking lot and walking back to the apartment, about 8 minutes, which was ok but not ideal. Second, the street level apartment uses strong air fresheners, presumably to make it smell better. You can't easily open the windows because they are right where people walk, so you have to deal with the chemical odour. It's not great, and for some people would be intolerable if you are sensitive to fragrances. It's also dark and low ceilinged, making it feel like a basement unit even though it's technically not below ground. The upstairs apartment is better, but also has that same air freshener smell though not as intense. You could probably open the windows in that unit to get some fresh air.

I see the potential, but this visit has not been a good experience due to lack of information, badly prepared appartment and slow response times when trying to contact the administration. First we struggled to get in. It took 1,5 hours before they picked up the phone and let us in. Apparently they had sent an sms in the morning and asked what time we would arrive but since the initial information here at hotels.com said an email with instructions would arrive I only checked my emails and missed the sms (I was on the flight with phone in flightmood when it was sent). So partly my own misstake. Secondly, in the evening when we prepared the sofabed we discovered we only had two pillows and three sets of towels to be shared by us four. I sent them an sms and 2 hours later, when we were already asleep we got a reply with information that more pillows could be found under the master bed. This morning we woke up early since one of the blinds in the bedroom is broken and the morning sun is shining bright directly in our faces. The free wifi we haven’t been able to use. We have asked for the password but has not got any reply. We have no information about how to check out today. But location is great (except for parking), the appartment nice and clean and you have all equipment you may need.

The stay was exactly what we needed! We had to pop into town for 1-2 nights and were looking for an economic and friendly option. This unit was simple and had everything you needed! The host was also very nice and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Great location Nice and clean

Villa Daky is a professionally renovated house in the historic center of Split, with high-quality amenities and suitable for a multi-day stay of a family of four. Very short walking distance to Split harbor/marina promenade with multiple excellent dining options and good shopping. Also very close (5 min walk) to Teraca Vidilica, a terrace with great views of Split and very nice restaurant with open air seating.

So clean and large enough for the whole family to have their own room. Laundry too! Conveniently located to everything!

Veldig fin leilighet. Kort vei til både båt og buss. Ca 12 min å gå fra Flybussen. Koselig, rolig område. Leiligheten var veldig ren og vi hadde et supert opphold!

Great place; 5 minutes walk to old city / Marjian Hill. Clean and with coffe / tea and everything you need to have great breakfast / quick lunches …. Parking on the street is a challenge so be mindful….

And amazing location with a beautiful and clean Villa. The price for what you get is definitely worth it. The Villa was quiet yet close to everything. I could comfortably recommend this property to friends and family.

Great location though we did have some initial issues with access to the property. Parking - although available - does have its issues we discovered.

We loved our stay at Villa Daky. It’s location is very good, not far from the center. The interior is nice as well. We don’t regret spending our money for Villa Daky!

Dragana, the host, was super friendly and helpful, we could ask anything and have a reply almost instantly. Location is great, quiet, cozy neighborhood just next to the old town. Will definitely stay here again if we return!

남편과 지금까지 30여개국 여행을 다녀왔는데, 머물렀던 호텔 중 최악이었습니다. 호텔이라기 보다는 그냥 방하나짜리 반지하 민박입니다. 반 지하 비슷한 위치라 좋지 않은 냄새가 나며, 바로 옆이 길이라 창문을 열면 행인들과 눈이 마주칩니다. 밤늦게까지 밖에서 떠드는 소리가 들려 잠도 설쳤습니다. 방은 매우 좁은데, 식사할 마땅한 자리도 없습니다. 침대 옆 벽은 습기 때문에 썩은 자리들이 차지하고 있습니다. 저희는 조식포함이라 예약하였는데, 전화로 체크인 시 조식은 얘기도 없었고, 결국 못먹었습니다. (체크아웃 때 열쇠는 방에 두고 가면 된다고 하더군요.) 아주 불편한 마음으로 나왔습니다. 이 호텔이 평점이 높아서 선택하였는데, 이 점수는 이해가 되지 않습니다. 정말 최악의 숙박이었습니다.

The place was spotless, very well appointed, great location. Only issues we had: 1) could not reach owner right away when we arrived 2)breakfast is off site and does not open until 9 am. We arrived at 9 but they were still not ready and told us to come back in.10 minutes as nothing was set up yet. We could not because we had to catch a ferry. Next day, Sunday we arrived again at 9 am and found out they were closed on Sundays. The last day, Monday, we had to leave at 8 am so we missed it again. We never had their breakfast. This information should have been clearly stated on their site. We would not have chosen the breakfast included option if we knew that ahead of time.

The apartment is close to the old town of Split and Dioclesian's palace. It's a very nice apartment with a window that gives you a peak of the ocean. The only issue could be parking since the street is very narrow and street parking is very limited.

Loved it! Our room was perfect! Clean and comfortable, contemporary design and a GREAT location. Very close to the main attractions. Host was great at communicating everything and very helpful and flexible. Will be coming back!
