Hotel was recommended to us by a wine merchant in Saint Emilion. She raved about the views and it did not disappoint!! Rooms were beautiful and the terrace rooms are worth the money!

We had an excellent 1 night stay at Sowell Le Chevaliers. The staff was very patient during our check in. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Carcassonne. The room was clean and nicely appointed with a walkout spacious terrace. We wish we could have stayed another night. The view we had of the walled city and overlooking the river (with bird activity) was a treat.

Really good location, right next to the old bridge. Halfway to the castle and to the city. Although the room was tight, the bed was very comfortable.

Superb location for old and more modern city with everything only a short walk away. Fantastic views of the old city.

Quiet, clean, comfortable

We stayed one night. great location , the staff was very helpful . Some issues in the room have been resolved by the front desk. Travellers from Vancouver, Canada

Spacious rooms with generous balconies. Bathrooms also a good size, but badly designed with space wasted. Good location with balcony views of the citadel.

Wonderful stay as always in my favorite Carcassonne hotel 😅

Room was tired and scuffed especially the bathroom and loo. Breakfast was terrible. Coffee undrinkable, bacon so tough it was impossible to swallow. When I asked for GF bread I was directed to baguette! Then they offered frozen pain de mie. Not good enough quality for the price. View from room was great.

Great stay

We were upgraded to a room with a terrace with a stunning view of the medieval cite. We loved the bathrobes, the cleanliness, and the comfy bed.

Wonderful hotel with amazing views of Cite de Carcassonne. Definitely worth paying for the Cite view room. Excellent breakfast. Super comfortable room with separate WC. Must stay here.

Staff was very friendly, location to parking lot and castle were excellent. Breakfast buffet was excellent!
