Amazing host. He couldn’t do enough for us during our stay and replied almost instantly to my messages. Suite was clean and tidy. Single bed is in a separate room with a door. Suite can be made incredibly dark so you can have a good lie in! One small improvement could be more pressure in the shower.

This stay was the perfect spot for our time in Ortigia. With the beach right outside and the market down the street, we were able to do everything we wanted even though there was some extreme heat. Massimo was top class and assisted with all of the questions we had leading up to and during our stay.

The Ortigia Royal Suite is truly a dream. The Suites are beautiful, charming, and clean. There is an amazing rooftop terrace overlooking the sea- perfect to watch the sunrise, star gaze, or simply relax with some wine. It is the perfect location, quiet and walkable to many restaurants and shops. The owner Pepe greeted us with espresso when we checked in and showed us around and made us feel at home. The concierge Massimo was beyond helpful and friendly- always making sure we had everything we needed and prompt in his responses whenever we needed to reach out. He also provided us with tons of information on what to do and see around Ortigia. We rented a car and their valet parking service was easy and convenient. The hotel also provides breakfast vouchers at the most charming cafe just a short walk away where we had the best cornettos, fruit, and cappuccinos each morning. I will be going back to Ortigia and staying here whenever I do !

Main building was well located and excellent rooftop terrace with magnificent views. Breakfast was off site, short walk away at a local bakery and limited to one juice, one coffee and one pastry.

Great location near the water but on a quiet street. People were friendly and sent us lots of info via what’s app when we arrived. Only comment is that housekeeping could have swept floor better as dusty and feet Got dirty.

This place is charming, full of atmosphere, colourful, a blend of modern and local aesthetics, and right by the sea, less than a minute from a promenade/lookout and swimming spot. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful, conscientious of our interests and experiences, and Massimo was a perfect example of a thoughtful, humourous and knowledgeable manager! A wonderful spot to stay and experience the magic of Oritigia! Thank you!

Great location: the sea is accessible just across the street from the hotel and down the stairs to the rocky point. Hotel itself is great - quiet and clean. The staff members are very nice and helpful; but they need more hands to manage all duties in attending to customers ranging from checking in/out to dining at breakfast on the roof.

The front desk staff is very welcoming and helpful. The room was very unique and comfortable with good AC, Bathroom and windows that open to the sea view. The rooftop breakfast area is very open and sunny to the point where it really needs shading to make it comfortable. Also the breakfast offerings were good but there was no fresh fruit which would have made it better.

Si veda, ad esempio, la impossibilità di usufruire della colazione (peraltro assolutamente scarna) all'interno della struttura in caso di impraticabilità della terrazza, nel qual caso si mette a disposizione della clientela un voucher per una consumazione a un bar convenzionato (fra l'altro non in prossimità dell'albergo) quando invece un albergo di questa categoria dovrebbe garantire una colazione a buffet tale da soddisfare ogni esigenza.

Great place to stay, the renovation / restoration of this property retains alot of original features whilst adding a modern contemporary feel.

First, the room given is not what I booked and paid. Second, Noisy road , and hotel water system sounds keep happened a little now and a little then at mid- nights and early morning to hurt the sleeping.Third,many mosquitoes annoyed us bit us. .

Ortigia Royal Suite was a fantastic choice for us, the suite for 3-4 people was very comfortable and the decoration very stylish, a view to a gorgeous Ionic Ocean. But the main reason to come here is to have all the attention of its great staff, Massimo the manager, along with Angelo and Denisse were prompt to answer any question and directed us towards multiple adventures in this great island.

Location excellent. Breakfast was great. Very helpful staff with great terrace and views of the sea.

This was one of our best hotels and feel so lucky to have read about it in the NYT! We cancelled our other 2 reservations and glad we did. There is nothing that we did not like!! Large suite for the price, comfortable bedding and towels, clean, excellent service at the front desk, very quiet, and love the location. Love the voucher for the breakfast cafe as well. Can HIGHLY recommend to others.
