Excellent location. Luca is a great host, very knowledgeable and accessible. Breakfast is outstanding.

Breakfast was amazing. Reception was a wealth of knowledge for the surrounding area and beyond.

I can't say enough about this place. The location, the ambiance and especially the attention to detail provided by the owners. Just the breakfast alone was an exceptional experience. The owner took the time to explain every item on the buffet to every guest that walked in. All local ingredients and homemade bakery items. Please come and experience this wonderful resort. You will not be disappointed!

Very beautiful hotel we had an amazing room on the ground floor with the best view ever. We enjoyed the owners they very personable and helpful we will be back.

Luca was such a welcoming host. He offered many suggestions for local restaurants and ideas for tours to make the most of our time. I am not sure how he has the energy, but he seemed to be everywhere attending to guests.

Amazing breakfast

Spotlessly clean, great pool and a fabulous breakfast. Room was a bit dated and reception had more of a hostel vibe. Walk to Volterra was a bit of a hike but all in all a very good place to stay.

Séjour de 3 nuits. Petit hôtel pas trop loin de Volterra. Grande piscine dans un parc entouré d’oliviers. Chambre sympathique avec vue sur les collines alentours. Mais le plus de l’hotel c’est le petit déjeuner. Choix exceptionnel avec gâteaux maison et terrasse avec vue. L’hôte nous a préparé un programme qui pourrait remplir une semaine sur place. Nous recommandons vivement.

The Hotel Villa Rioddi was one of the very best places I've ever stayed. The owner, Luca, was most attentive to our every need, whether it was suggesting a day's itinerary, pouring us a delicious glass of local wine and producing a fabulous breakfast every morning. Our room was spotless and appeared to be recently renovated. The swimming pool was large and refreshing after a day in the Tuscan sun. The location, just outside Volterra's old town, proved a perfect jumping off point to a myriad of Italian gems. Luca knew them all and was perfectly happy to steer us to them.

Hotel bem tranquilo, meio a natureza, lugar lindo, família que cuida e nos recepciona. Todos simpáticos e atenciosos. Café da manhã com alguns produtos caseiros. Muito bom.

Excellent stay. Great welcome and check in experience with lots of info on the local area. Great breakfast using all local produce and different every day. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. And the views!! And the pool!! Luca the host was very accommodating. We work in hospitality and couldn’t believe the extras - choose your own mattress type, and pillow type. It really was a fantastic place. We’ll be back.

Besonders erwähnenswert war das Frühstücksbuffet. Selbst gebackene Kuchensorten und ein sehr freundliches Personal.

Afuera de la ciudad de Volterra, pero unas villas preciosas, con unas vistas espectaculares. La propiedad es llevada por el dueño o gerente del lugar de una manera excepcional. El la hace de todo en el hotel, pero con una eficiencia y un gusto por atender a los huéspedes de una forma exquisita. Muy recomendable lugar si lo que quieres es tranquilidad y paz.

A hotel nagyon tiszta, a reggeli minden vàrakozàst felülmúl: helyi alapanyagokból hàzi készítésű reggeli, nem a kommersz, szàllodàkban megszokott. Többféle hàzi sütemény, finom kàvé, capuccino. A fürdőszoba felszereltsége hagy kivànnivalót, tusfürdőn kívül semmilyen kozmetikum nincs. Szép kert és medence, jó időben strandolàsra kívàló. Az óvàros gyalogos megközelítése nem ajànlott. A közelben két élelmiszerbolt is van.

Amazing Hosts, worth the stay for the breakfast alone.

Lovely hotel located in a beautiful area with amazing views of the countryside. Hotel looks like a typical traditional house with all the comfort. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast on the terrace. With the car, we were 5 minutes away from Volterra.
