Nice people but very basic and outdated accommodation

Nice place for the money, but the children were home and started talking early in the morning, you can hear them, so it is not big on privacy or late sleep (after 6am). Walkable to the turtle sanctuary.

Very nice guest house (b&b) about 25 mins walk or 5 mins by tuk tuk from centre of Galle. The hosts couldn’t be nicer or more helpful and even offered us lifts to town. Sri Lankan or English breakfasts were great. Very clean house with delightful garden in a real Sri Lankan setting. Be aware though, no hot water for showers. Overall terrific value for money.
