Gorgeous property have stayed here twice already:) super close to the national park. most staff is v helpful and professional. Yummy food. Perfect views. Love the pool. It’s in the woods so expect some insects but totally understandable.

带父母入住，管家李枚入住前一天就提前沟通，热心帮忙规划游玩线路和预定晚餐。当天按照预定路线到达杨家界门票站外，司机大哥已经取好托运的行李等着，顺利入住好享受房型升级至荷塘的福利。荷塘的燕子、熊阿姨和吕阿姨厨艺棒棒哒，吃到了刚出锅的红薯粑粑，特别赞。特别感谢客房清洁的阿姨，退房时将随时小包落在房间，上车都没有发现，幸亏阿姨及时送还，完璧归赵，32个赞！

Je dirai que le seul petit bémol est le petit dejeuner qui est tres petit et pas du tout dans les normes d’un 5 etoiles car on ne mangeait quasiment rien…

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay. We both loved it. Beautiful room, beautiful scenery, great shower, huge bed. Views in an upper room with private balcony across the mountains. Staff are amazing, Rain was incredibly helpful. Our breakfast was included. Dinner is also available from menu choices at extra (very reasonable fee), good food in a lovely onsite restaurant overlooking the infinity swimming pool. Free car transfers back and forth to the west gate of Zhangjiajie National Park. Set up WeChat so you can text them and they come immediately to pick you up. This is for west gate park entrance only/free car. Other car services at a fee. Airport pick up was CNY200, it’s an hour away. Can’t recommend this place enough, much more fun than staying in a big westernised hotel. We stayed 4 nights. Absolutely fantastic experience!

The most perfect hotel ever. So gorgeous, with an infinity pool, teahouse and amazing restaurant - the hotel is so helpful to get you to the national park. Only issue is that it is quite far from certain areas, however if you're looking for a peaceful retreat and want to visit the Avatar Mountains, this is the place to stay.

The hotel was beautiful and the service was excellent. It is very close to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, and Rain helped us choose the best routes to enjoy the park as much as possible. They made our stay a great experience.

The staff were very helpful in particular Olivia. Exceptional and takes care of everything. Yamam the Tea master also created an amazing tea ceremony experience. The activities and the service was very good. The heated pool and view is out of this world! Amazing. The property is rustic it could do with some maintenance and up Keep it’s tiered, the cold pool didn’t look usable and no comfy loungers. I would stay again apart from for the food. None of it was good and due to the remote nature of the property that is what you are stuck with. So property in nature lovely, food awful.

The reception greeted us upon check in with tea, and immediately preordered dinner for us(which was delicious). The staff’s level of care and attention was wonderful. They helped us arrange a perfect day in the national park. Breakfast was fresh and varied from local congee to traditional western breakfast staples. The rooms and property are gorgeous and seamlessly intwined in the mountainside. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing place to catch your breath. The views of the valley are magical.

We spent 4 nights at No.5 at the end of April and it exceeded expectations in every possible way. There are no amount of pictures available to do this property justice and the service was impeccable, Rain and his team did an amazing job of making our stay feel Bespoke and Personal. We were upgraded to a tree house on our arrival, which was luxurious, spacious and had unimaginably good views, however from what we could see around the property, ALL of the rooms looked fantastic. If you stay here, I would reccomend a couple of hours one evening relaxing in the tea room, we had a special night playing music and learning about the various teas grown local to the property. If I was going to reccomend any improvement (and I am clutching at straws to find one), it would be nice to see a few different options on the menu, or an alternating menu, as if you stay at the lodge, there is a 90% chance you are going to be eating there nightly. We will absolutely be returning to this hotel, and we will be reccomending it to any of our friends visiting the area. Thank you no.5 for making our time in zhangjiajie perfect.

We had the best time at No.5 Valley. The rooms were amazing, the ladies at breakfast/dinner room were the sweetest. I'm vegetarian and they made me a yummy noodle dish. Rain went over and beyond for us, got us the National park tickets, sorted out transport, drew us a route and it meant we avoided queues. I cannot recommend them enough. Olivia was also great and helped us throughout and kept in touch via Wechat. Mango our driver.... bless him stayed till we were done late at Tianmen mountain as we wanted to see the lights. My favourite...Max the dog....it was an emotional goodbye because he is the goodest boy. If in Zhangjiajie - you HAVE to stay here!!!

No. 5 Valley Lodge was one of the most memorable places I stayed in China. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, tucked into the mountains with a very calm, nature-focused atmosphere. It feels much more special than a normal hotel because the whole property has a sense of place — quiet paths, greenery, mountain views, and a slower rhythm that makes it feel like a real escape. The staff were also extremely kind and thoughtful. One of the highlights was the tea experience: the tea master was generous, welcoming, and made the whole experience feel personal rather than touristy. She even prepared calligraphy pieces and shared tea with genuine care, which made the stay feel much more meaningful.

All staffs are very friendly and helpful from checkin staff Xiao Wu, hotel manager, restaurant staffs & all the drivers. Xiao Wu very patiently went through the tour routes based on how much time we have with a lovely hand-drawn cute map. We had a lovely stay despite the unexpected road works. But hotel had proactively arranged the pickup at road work section to provide us a worry free experience. We are very lucky to have a free upgrade to a lovely 270 degree Mountain View lodge, No 11 Jian Shan. We loved it. It is so spacious with a stunning mountain view and a perfect spot to watch Sunset. Hotel location is very conveniently close to West Gate of Zhangjiajie National Park, the quietest gate of all five gates. It is perfect for me as I am not great with long queues and walking along big tour groups. Overall, I would highlight recommend No 5 Vally Lodge.

No.5 Valley Lodge was the absolute highlight of our honeymoon. My wife and I stayed here during our visit to Zhangjiajie, and nothing else came close. You wake up surrounded by mountains and rice fields — literally inside the national park. Breathtaking and unforgettable. This isn’t a luxury hotel — it’s a mountain lodge, and that’s its charm. Rustic, big, built entirely out of wood. The staff are the heart of this place. Shoutout to Frankie for making us feel at home, and to the Tea Master for her warmth, incredible tea ceremonies, and gifts we’ll treasure forever. Luggage help was always there without asking — service here puts many luxury hotels to shame. For our honeymoon, the staff decorated our entire room with balloons and messages — one of the most thoughtful gestures of our trip. Breakfast was fantastic, served right next to our room. The hotel also provides free transport to the Avatar Mountains, which are incredibly close. Things to know: the wooden construction means sound travels between rooms. The lodge is remote — the city, Grand Canyon, and other attractions require a ride, and hotel transport is pricey (we used DiDi). But we came wanting a deep nature experience, and that’s exactly what we got. Not for everyone, but for us it was perfection. The best stay of our honeymoon, no question.

The lodge is in the middle of mountain, there is no restaurants, no social activities nearby. The lodge offers free breakfast, but you will have to pay double or triple the price for lunch and dinner if you want to eat inside lodge. The room is exactly same as old village type in China. If you are looking for a quiet place, this could suit you well. Otherwise think twice before booking. Lodge staffs are very nice and helpful.

El hotel está ubicado entre la naturaleza, todo lo que ves es hermoso, son cabañas , todo limpio y perfecto , las personas son muy amables, ahí mismo venden tickets para el Parque Nacional Zhianjiajie. Te llevan y te recogen en la entrada del parque. Nosotros solicitamos que fueran por nosotros al aeropuerto y también nos llevaron a la estación de tren. La comida es deliciosa, también tiene un bar , albercas.
