Great hotel, worth choosing

Very nice hotel , enjoyed stay as always , staff polite an enjoyed speaking to them always enjoy our stay at the Bedford lodge

Super high quality hotel! If you plan to travel for Newmarket horse racing, this hotel must be the best choice. In the hotel, they have a wonderful warm swimming pool and jacuzzi. My husband and I enjoyed them after watching horse races. Although it was a very expensive hotel, we enjoyed very much our life in Newmarket.

We stayed here over a bank holiday weekend for Spa break. We were disappointed with immediately after arrival on the day, were shown the leisure/spa facilities of the hotel, which we thought was the spa in the pics, we were not advised otherwise. Spoiler alert, the actual spa isn’t in the same premises, the one on the premises is pretty much like a local leisure centre with tired facilities. We only found the next day that we had to leave the premises to go to the actual spa after my husband took his laptop to the reception showed pics of the spa from here said, it doesn’t look like this here, that’s when they decided to say oh you wanted to go here, that’s over there (pointing at another building across the street) to cut a long story short we wasted our first day wondering where the hell is the spa. The only redeeming element was the bar downstairs specifically Joshua & Paul, they really made us feel very welcome and looked after us throughout the evening. Also the next we finally went to the spa across the street and it was absolutely fantastic, the spa team even gave us a little present to say sorry for the confusion.

We had a great bleisure stay at the hotel. Clean room, comfortable bed, excellent and clean swim/sauna/steam facilities and not crowded. Breakfasts and evening meal were superb. Will definitely stay again soon.

Lovely hotel but expect to pay over the odds if you’re staying for racing at Newmarket

Another lovely stay at this stand up hotel, pleasant & friendly staff, very clean room Health club & breakfast lovely, however some relaxing music in the health club would be a bonus. We will be returning in the summer.

Great hotel, clean and tidy,,friendly and great facilities.

Everything was lovely. The room was a standard room, but very nice, clean, with everything you could want and well laid out. The hotel has a lovely feel, very calm and peaceful and relaxing. Upmarket, but in a nice way, where you feel at ease and comfortable. Staff are lovely, nothing too much trouble, extra pillows, towels etc. if you need them. I asked for non-feather pillows/bedding, which was done with no problems. The pool and sauna were lovely, with excellent opening times. The restaurant food is excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel, and stay here again.

Room was clean and had everything you’d want. Nice tea and coffee facilities with proper milk (in room fridge). Slept well bed was comfortable. Bar staff were lovely and had great drink suggestions. Breakfast was great, a large selection of options and cooked options too.

Pool was lovely, not cold! Hot tub perfect. Our room was very nice with a big comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant and found the food and service excellent. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Nice quiet location.

As hotel guest you dont have access to the pool advertised on the website. The advertises pool is on the neighbouring lot about 300’meters away. The hotel has a pool but it is overcrowded and in dire need of repair. The restaurant is nice and the staff there is welcoming and sharp

I went for a birthday party and had a wonderful stay. The room was very comfortable and well-equipped with all the amenities, including an iron. Breakfast was delicious, and I especially loved the gym and swimming pool. The jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room made the experience even more relaxing. I truly enjoyed my stay!

Lovely hotel, good sized room. The Spa facilities were very good and the pool a decent shape and length. Breakfast was excellent and all staff very friendly and helpful.
