This pub has been a revelation! It is situated slightly off the main thoroughfare and has an unassuming appearance. My wife and I have been coming to Skipton for many years and we always call in somewhere for a drink and often something to eat. We came across this pub today and decided we'd check out; today's best decision! All of the staff who dealt with us were delightful and so accommodating. We decided to eat as the place seemed so friendly. I can honestly say that this is pub food at its very best. It was incredibly tasty, beautifully cooked and, if anything, too generous. We cannot recommend it enough. The only downside is that when we came to pay the bill, there was no facility to contribute a tip by card for the wonderful staff, and we didn't have any cash. If you decide to eat here, PLEASE take cash for a tip. We'll have to give a double tip next time; there will definitely be next times.

我对这家酒店的体验极其失望和沮丧。 我预订了房间，带着家人（包括两个小孩）抵达时，原本以为会顺利入住。结果却被拒绝办理入住，让我们带着年幼的孩子被困在酒店里，倍感焦虑。更糟糕的是，酒店没有提供任何合理的解决方案，也没有退款，尽管我们无法入住。 经理尼尔态度粗鲁、冷漠、不予理睬、毫不妥协，完全没有同理心。他非但没有关心我们这个带着小孩的家庭，反而冷漠无情，眼里只有钱。我感觉，对他们来说，顾客关怀和基本的人性远不如利润最大化重要。 我们受到的待遇让我们感到不受欢迎，也让我们感到不被尊重。管理层没有尝试以专业的态度解决问题，反而表现得傲慢、固执、麻木不仁，甚至带有对抗性。 This was one of the most unpleasant hospitality experiences my family has ever had. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel to families or to anyone who expects fair treatment, understanding, and customer-focused service.

汉堡的分量还不错，我吃得饱饱的。但是汉堡肉本身有点干，干到嚼不动……而且蔬菜切得也很奇怪，很难放进嘴里，还老是掉下来…… 不过他们会免费提供蛋黄酱，沙拉也还不错。服务员也很友好，虽然我当时有点社交障碍。总的来说，这家店还算可以。
