Extremely good environment with fjord view. Free rowing boat with a lot of fun and great photos. Hotel owner is very gentle and helpful. Good food served both dinner and breakfast

The hotel is in a beatiful place. The envirronment is nice and quiet.

Beautiful location and lots of history. Owner is wonderful. Only down side is that we came late in the season (mid September) and some of the other dining options close by were closed. Found some good places in Stryn (30 minute drive). Loved the book of suggested hikes in the area - make sure that you follow instructions/direction carefully.

Super cute family owned hotel. Beautiful location on the lake. Evening dinner made by the family was very delicious. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Hjelle Hotel. A must if you are in the area. The dinner each night was incredible, all food made with local ingredients and so delicious. Our 9 month old was with us and the owners went out of their way to accommodate her and provide what we needed. Also, the views from the hotel grounds are out of this world. We hope to come back one day- our stay here was a highlight of our trip to Norway.

Dejlig beliggenhed og smuk udsigt ud over søen fra hotelværelset. Skøn morgentur. Skønt at møde rigtig værtspar i receptionen der er arrangeret i hotellet og go til at give ideer til hvad man kan fortage sig i området.

Haben im Motel übernachtet. Zimmer sind sehr sauber und modern, Zimmerwände sind aber etwas dünn, man kann den Nachbarn schnarchen hören. Frühstück ist auch in Ordnung, wenn auch nicht ganz so reichhaltig wie an anderen Orten.

Sehr gutes Abendessen, auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Die Aussicht ist der Hammer. Definitiv eine Weiterempfehlung, auch wenn das ganze Gebäude nicht neu ist.

Historisk hotell i sveitserstil. Fikk et av de største rommene i romantisk stil med balkong og utsikt mot vann og fjell. Sengene var gode, romslig bad med god plass til toalettsaker. Litteratur på rommet « tips om hva gjøre lokalt og med bil innen en time». Rommet var rent. Restauranten hadde nydelig lokal mat. Vertskapet introduserte middagen med hva vi fikk å spise samt historien om hotellets opprinnelse og utvikling. Beliggenheten, helt ypperlig blant fjord og fjell.

I never leave reviews but Hjelle hotel was simply outstanding. Beautiful location right on a picturesque lake, and very friendly staff/owners. They were even willing to do my laundry for a small fee.

Magnifique hôtel et environnement exceptionnel. Le cadre est sympathique, la décoration est raffinée et respecte l'architecture du bâtiment. Le motel, bien que plus simple, est un endroit agréable et confortable pour y séjourner. Le personnel est avenant.
