More of a B&B feel to it. I think i might have been the only person they had staying that night. Cooked breakfast was minimal, but very nice owner.

Greeted in a unprofessional manner re hosts dress attire then found the toilet seat was loose. Booked for 7.30pm dinner but was greeted by male host not too be late as we were the only guests eating in the dining room so they wanted to finish up asap. Then was watched as wanted our food order quickly (re above) then was hovered over by the host commenting "How are we doing" whilst we were still waiting then have you finished. The steak however was very good however a bit more relaxed time to have eaten it would have been pleasant and also to have been asked if we wanted a sweet but then that would delayed then to closer up. Then when we went to relax in the empty bar lounge was told by the host that we could have 1 drink as the bar as would be closing at 9-9.15pm so as this was at 8.40pm didn't feel at all welcomed or relaxed. The surrounding garden was very run down in poor repair so we will certainly not be returning again.

Ideally placed for the New Forest, Southampton and Bournemouth, we stayed 1 night while visiting the New Forest. We were made to feel welcome, which instantly made us relaxed. The room was clean, well decorated, the bed was comfortable. The bed linen and towels felt luxurious. The weekend breakfast was excellent, we started with fresh fruit and yoghurt (cereals were also on offer) then had a full English which was cooked to perfection using good quality ingredients.

Have stayed on different occasions, always friendly, spotless, food excellent, and the owners are very accommodating and helpful.

They were great and the room was lovely, had breakfast and dinner there and they were both spot on.

As a single fe.ale staying away for work, im always worried booking rooms. I was anxious as i turned up to the property as it was in a wooded area. These worries qas soon squashed as i was welcomed by the owner toni. The owners where lovely and showed me to my room. The room was spacious, clean with an amazing view of the front garden. The room had a hairdryer, kettle with tea coffee and hot chocolate. There was also a pack of two biscuits. The continental breakfast in the morning was delicious with a great choice. I highly recommend and will be staying again

The best nights sleep I have had in months. Very friendly hosts and food was great. Think I would have liked to have seen more traditional foods n the menu

Nicely renovated! I really liked the new carpet through out and the nice new bathroom. My room had recently been repainted and was very spacious. I had a nice TV and good double glazed windows. I had no noises in the night and very friendly management. I liked the breakfast too, fresh fruit! I find it hard to find fresh fruit when I travel, and the addition of great pastries, jam and cereals was nice.

Super place. Rooms recently renovated. Excellent chef for evening dinner. Good continental breakfast during the week, cooked at weekends. Nice area for a quick stroll after dinner.

The room was clean and tidy but what sto9d out the most was the food which was second to none

A lovely place to stay, the room and ensuite were very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Our evening meal was superb and the staff were very friendly prividing an excellent service. I had a steak cooked to perfection and my wife had duck breast also cooked to perfection. Breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend.
