Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Historic building with character and style.

Dit hotel is een mooi gebouw. Echter de kamers zijn kleiner dan je doet vermoeden. Tweepersoonsbed staat in een hoek en is ook nog smal. 1.60 Niet handig als je uit bed wil stappen. Airco werkte onvoldoende en bij mijn dochter op de kamer werkte hij niet. Lopen naar het hotel is te doen, maar niet handig over alle keien. Voor ouderen zelfs zwaar/ onhandig Het slechtste was het ontbijt! We hebben twee keer ontbijt gehad. Kwamen op tijd (8.45), maar schrokken van het buffet. Brood was verbrand en weinig keuzes (2) verder kleine croissantjes en cakejes We moesten vragen om beleg, daar de meeste schalen leeg waren. Wat er verder lag, zoals kikkererwten, paprika en asperges zag er niet aantrekkelijk uit. Gevraagd om een eitje. Dat kon echt niet. Dit was een high class ontbijt vertelde de dame van het ontbijt Zij was echter niet van high class. Ze was nors en onvriendelijk. De muziek zeer onaangenaam in de ochtend bij een ontbijt. Electronische dansmuziek. Wij zijn absoluut geen klagers. Nemen het meestal zo als het is. Dit was vooral een teleurstelling voor twee dagen in een duur hotel , waar we naar uit hadden gekeken. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam was de man bij de receptie.

No parking used. Staff very friendly, very good breakfast and room very clean and good.

Visually beautiful hotel with gorgeous gardens . On Sunday morning there was very good live music outside. Staff were all very friendly and helpful . Our room was stylish with very comfy beds and large modern bathroom. Only a few hangers in wardrobe but was no problem to ask for more . Would have appreciated better tea and coffee making facilities as there was just a pod machine to make espresso . I needed an iron and staff were very helpful, bringing it to our room . The breakfast was buffet style with the option of ordering hot food or yoghurt and fruit . I was reluctant to eat from the buffet as the food wasn’t covered and there were flies around . I ordered poached eggs on the first day but they were very undercooked, omelette second day, again undercooked . I found my best option to be yoghurt and fruits - toast and preserve . Tea and coffee were both good at breakfast too . I ended up enjoying this more than a cooked breakfast. Again staff really lovely . Hotel was undergoing some building work during our stay but that was no problem.

Everything was nice at the hotel, except the WiFi, no car access, and far parking with cobblestone walk and drive ways. This was not good while dragging luggage.

Mejor de lo que esperaba.

Teníamos una habitación triple superior y la habitación que nos dieron era bastante pequeña. Con la cama del niño abierta el armario no se abría una de las puertas, el frigo también era difícil abrirlo y la ventana que estaba en ese lado imposible abrir si no saltabas por encima de la cama. La cama del niño era un sofá cama con colchón de unos 5 cm. Al día siguiente tuvimos problemas porque no nos hicieron la habitación, y eso que bajamos a las 18:00 h a comentarlo pero siguieron sin hacerla. Cuando llegas al hotel te invitan con unas tarjetas a un refresco, copa de vino o cóctel y cuando fuimos a tomar el cóctel nos dijeron que eso era antes y que ya no daban ese tipo de bebidas, que era antes porque tenían barman pero ya no. Cuando te hacen la habitación, en el baño no te retiran los tarritos de gel y champú que has usado, hay se quedan aunque estén vacíos. El hotel es bonito pero nuestra estancia no fue muy buena por estés detalles, y sobre todo la habitación como he dicho antes muy muy muy justa para 3 personas.

The hotel is beautiful and located in a great area. However, our room did not have any hot water in the bathroom, so all of our showers were freezing cold. We also found garbage in our room upon our arrival. In addition, some members of the staff were not very friendly during our stay.

Nice hotel. Staff was excellent. Air conditioner essentially non-existent. One of our parties door would not lock. Unfortunately, no fix or option to change rooms.

Nice hotel located I the city center of the old town. Everything was perfect. Parkering is 3-5 min walk away from the hotel in a parking basement, which was a little difficult to find eve though we follow the signs to the hotel. Google maps had some difficulty to guide us to the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel is really good.
