everything was excellent inc staff

Perfect stay ! Staff most helpful; food excellent; room was clean, tidy and comfortable; sea view superb especially with a "super wolf moon" at night and a colourful sunrise each morning.

Room was fine, staff attentive and breakfast was first class.

A very nice hotel with pleasant dining and lounge areas in a super position directly opposite the beach and Moot Hall. Friendly staff and very clean. Great breakfast, including lovely kippers!

The room clean tidy and warm. The staff were very polite and helpful and nothing was too much trouble

Dinner menu was a bit limited and my curry was not nice. Looks or taste. The room was very clean but tired and dated. Fabulous view though.

Room fine a really nice big comfortable bed and pillows. Nice touch to have a bottle of still water in the room. The bathroom was okay, good shower but decor a bit worn Breakfast very good with a nice selection and quality product and service. Parking very limited though.

The room was quite warm and the door was sticking on opening and couldn’t be closed without slamming. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent.

Breakfast nice. Hotel shabby. Not worth the cost. Wi-Fi doesn’t really work. it’s a perfect location and it could be great but it’s essentially the basic premier inn room. Small double bed. Old bathroom. Tiny Tv. There are better options I think especially for what they are charging

Room comfortable and well furnished. Didn’t like the rather heavy duvet - like trying to sleep under a rug. Good cooked breakfast: hard-working staff run off their feet so waiting inevitable. They were helpful and welcoming.

It was a shame that our stay was tempered by staff shortages. Otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The clientele occupy the upper age group which moaning and complaining are almost mandatory, ignore them.

The room looked out on to scaffolding which we were not happy about, also the TV kept loosing the signal, I went down to ask if there was another room and straight away I was found the choice of two other rooms which were more to our liking, The staff in the bar and restaurant were really friendly and very good at their jobs, over all we had a very nice stay.

Staff were very helpful. The property definitely needs painting on the outside. Inside was ok.

The staff we dealt with were all lovely, but the building itself is tired and run down. Our bathroom was particularly grim - grouting gone brown, and awful bath grips that were not only horribly stained but very painful to sit on!

The stairs to 2nd floor rooms are a bit confusing but other than that all was good Excellent breakfast served a very nice and capable young lady called Amy. Jack who booked us in was also very professional
