Room was fine , staff were great , big car park , never had breakfast as were leaving early .

These is only my opinion But i have stayed in a lot of hotels I just didn't like its an hotel that needs some work on it The staff was helpful

Restaurant on site is only for breakfast and not for an evening meal which is very disappointing. Hotel could do with it. An update that the rooms are very dated.

Easy and helpful check in, very helpful kitchen staff, located conveniently to a number of take away restaurants, and I found my room to be quiet.

Perfectly adequate, good for a budget, handy location for station, set back from main road, friendly staff.

The property has no air conditioning but you can deposit for a fan if your lucky.The breakfast isn't as good as it used to be, but not too bad for the price

A last minute decision to stay here after my journey was delayed and I could not reach my intended destination that night. Basic, but functional.

Comfortable, clean room. Decent car park, easy to access. Pretty close to the station. Nearby restaurants for evening meals. Good breakfast.

A really nice - if brief - overnight stop, just what I wanted and exceedingly good value. Highly recommended!

Room was small and bathroom needed some TLC.no problems with parking. Breakfast was cooked fresh and nice staff were very nice and helpful nothing was to munch trouble. We know people return here often and I think that it's the staff that make it.

Easy walk to the rail station. Helpful staff. Clean room. Good for an overnight stay. I didn't have breakfast.

Very basic, decent for what I was after but quite outdated. Staff were very friendly though :)

One night stay booked with breakfast. Good reviews of the Hotel, so reasonable expectations for my stay. Arrived shortly after 18.00 on Saturday evening to find front door locked and a note inside to phone the Hotel to gain access. It was pouring with rain at the time and wasn't a pleasant experience standing in the rain trying to get someone to open the door, and also prevent my phone from getting damaged in the rain. There's no porch over the outside door and you are at the mercy of the elements. Not a good start. If it is essential to lock the access door to the Hotel at 6pm, why not lock the internal porch door instead of the external one. At least you can shelter in the dry porch to make the phone call. Room 13. No coat hook to hang my wet coat on. Coat hangers in the wardrobe, but no trouser hanger to hang my wet trousers on. Wifi signal in Room 13 very weak and kept dropping out. At 21.00 someone entered my room! The Yale type lock on the room was so flimsy, any key could open it. A dead bolt on the door would prevent unauthorised access. Moved to room 21. Again poor/non existent wi-fi, and no coat hooks. Apart from the points noted, the rooms were comfortable and practical. The breakfast, as noted by others was excellent. I was given a receipt for my payment when I checked in, different to the amount I paid. My payment was direct to Hotels.com, not to the Hotel. Hotels.com have provided me with a receipt, the Hotel does not need to provide another one.

Didn't take breakfast as an early start. Shower was a bit cramped. Nice cosy room.
