Have stayed before and a nice hotel. Was very glad of the a/c on this occasion. Was World Cup on and asked to switch one of to to tonight’s game to no avail despite barley a sole in bar and no one watching either to. Was surprised not be advised I was being put in a disability room with chair rather than bath or standing shower

Easy to find and easy to get into Margate. Nice spacious room with a double bed and bathroom. The usual bits, kettle and coffee / tea making bits, tv, hairdryer, extra pillows. Really nice room. Key card entry to make it easy. Overall a good stay. Will stay again and will recommend

Hotel was separate from the reception (that's in the bar area) get your key and cross the car park road , easy to swipe in main door and room door. room was nice and tidy / clean but window wasn't fitting frame properly so wind and road noise could be heard very slightly.

Room clean but you need to ask for housekeeping if you’re there more than 1 night. Electronic door key took 3 taps to open every time. Breakfast is over the road in the pub, self serve for cereal, yogurt, tea, coffee but order cooked breakfast.

Avoid this hotel at all cost. Firstly the hotel reception is located in the main restaurant and the staff are too busy dealing with other customers so you will end up waiting with luggage in a restaurant trying to check in, staff are unhelpful and do not even greet you. The rooms are stuffy and uncomfortable. I stayed with my family and the bathroom is dirty and smelly. When i complained for a different room staff told me to check out and request refund because no other room can be given. The water pressure is very low and bath tubs are dirty . Alot of lime scale is visible on taps and the carpets seem very old, beds are ok but the bedding had yellow stains in the corner as housekeeping may have tried to hide from guests. I also noticed mice running around in the carpark that made my kids feel uneasy. Maybe because restaurant food waste was left at the back of the building.

Very friendly and helpful staff

The location was good, right by shopping centre, with a regular bus that runs to both Margate and Ramsgate. The room was quite basic, the beds were hard and lumpy with pillows as uncomfortable too. I barely slept the first night. There was also a lot of mould, especially in the bathroom, and basics like a hairdryer was missing, as was the information to call reception about the missing hairdryer. I ended up popping across the road to reception to ask for one, which did arrive about 30 minutes later. I paid for the breakfast, and in hindsight would have left it and gone to one of the many places over the road. The avocado and poached egg on toast was quite disappointing with a cheap sliced bread with processed avocado. Purchasing ahead reduced the cost, I'd have been really disappointed if I'd paid full price. The second day I ordered the pancakes which were much better. The staff were lovely though, and all very helpful. Can't fault the people who worked there.

Super cheap and great stay for the price. Clean tidy and functional, and close to supermarket and restaurant right next door. Would recommend

Breakfast was very good as always,parking is first class,staff are polite and helpful,they always are,room was clean,although a wee bit tired but enjoyed our stay,and we often go back 3/4 times a year.

Room was ready on arrival early afternoon. Staff at reaction check in which is inside the pub were polite and friendly. Explained everything regarding the parking and breakfast times etc. Room was clean and tidy. I had a room overlooking the carpark which I liked as I could see the car. Stayed as line female for a family funeral and I ate in the pub in the evening with other family members. Service in the pub was good they were friendly fussing over the dachshunds we had. Food was good albeit compared to where I live expensive but I guess that’s a regional thing. I used Meerkat discount which made it more reasonable. Would recommend and definitely stay again.
