The photos of the"resort"looks very good. However, I feel a more accurate description of the place is"short term serviced apartment". There are 3 blocks in this facility and 2 of the blocks are occupied by locals. Block B is the"resort". Also the lobby is very basic and toilets in the check-in lobby and sports hall have a musky odour. So don't expect a resort experience as most would understand and expect by that description. Also our room had a faulty phone line and a safe box that required a reset twice to be useable.

Overall the stay was okay. Just a small comment, the plugs point in the room was not working.

Food-deteriorating. Cleaniness house-dusty bed; Old furniure with very bad condition. Pool-children pool badly maintained; Children pool slide water pump not functioninb for years. Garden housekeeping-still OK.

Good experience with comfortable suite.

Please repair the kids slide, pools slide cement coroded and grow with greenish fungus, water pump not functioning.

Okay. Normal vacation. Friendly room service. Comfortable area. Excellent privacy. Nice swimming pool.

My family had a pleasant stay at 2 units of 2 + 1 bedroom where 1 of the room was upgraded to corner larger unit with nice view of the limestone & pool. The staff service were excellent especially the Indian guy at the guard & at the breakfast place. Very relaxing walk around the lake & lovely view.

Exactly like the pictures! Nice ambience and very friendly staff. Had a very nice stay there with family 🥰. Only one thing to comment-to improve on the taste of sambal for nasi lemak.

Not recommended at all- so expensive not even good location not good suits if you book you will be distributed by the staff all the time seems like you didn't pay staff and thier reservations management is 100 % unprofessional uneducated they even don't know how to talk and how to give the booking details to the customers. I pay for the 6 nights and they told me to check out on 18th July and my booking was till 19 July. 3 times they called me and told me 3 different timing even I was confused and angry and I check out cause gus was calling me sir you have to check out on 18 July I said it ' s 19 and he said no 18 when I packed my stuff than they call me that sorry your check-out is 19 July and after 30min he called me again and telling not 19 you will need to check out on 18. I was what the fuck it is resort or b*lls**t. All of you please be aware such awkward places or they will ruin your vacations.

As mentioned in traveloka page horizon view have bath tub but why my room does not have bathtub.

In essence, the Haven is a serviced apartment-although it was not immediately clear from the website. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is fairly well looked after-with facilities you would expect at an apartment complex. However to term the Haven as a resort is somewhat misleading. Unfortunately, I do not think it lives up to the expectations and the associated price tag. Firstly the 2 bedroom apartment unit I checked into was not thoroughly cleaned. There were footstep marks on the room/bathroom floors. The rubber seals to the bathroom doors were discoloured as well. Secondly, the breakfast options on offer were very underwhelming. There were limited options-and worst of all the food was left exposed to the flies. I did not return for breakfast on the second day. For people looking to be close to the town centre of Ipoh-you need to be aware of the distance between the Haven and the town centre. All things considered-unfortunately I will not be booking any further stays at the Haven in the future.

Best Experience. Swimming Pool Clean. Food OK Yummy
