Great view of the lake (Thomas Suite). Very clean. Modern furniture and amenities. Now, This B&B is a cottage with multiple rooms on top of each other, so noise and footsteps can be annoying if people didn't respect quiet times and no noise in common areas.

The restaurant for supper was excellent

Clean room, good location, would stay again!

Breakfast was mediocre (every day it was the same, just muffins and prepackaged granola bars and yogurt and whatnot). The room was clean, if small, and the bathroom didn't have a bathtub. The view to the lake was great.

We arrived very late at night. But the check-in instructions were easy to follow and timely. The room was nice and clean and the bathroom had everything we needed. The sound proof was not very good, but the living room is nice and has a lot of stuff for the guests. Overall it's a pleasant experience

A great place. Having the restaurant was a bonus-lucky we were there when it was open. Nice deck to watch out to the river.

The rooms were modern and clean. Lovely view of the water from the common area. The pub downstairs does great food. Would benefit from better road signage.

Amazing space and distance from the airport as well as amenities such as restaurants, petrol stations, and liquor store.

Great location 10 min from airport. Stayed here one night just before my early flight the next morning. Amazing attached restaurant just downstairs. My room with attached private bath was clean, spacious and comfortable - the in room AC was helpful during the unusual heat wave. The provided takeway breakfast was perfect since I had to leave early morning to catch a flight. I wish there were top sheets because it felt weird to just have the duvet without a sheet between - I'm not sure whether the duvet covers are cleaned in between guests. The towels were clean and fluffy; however they did smell a little bit musty, like someone forgot them in the wash for a while before drying them. There is a nice common living room area with a sofa and chairs and a refrigerator, coffee, yogurt, juice. It would have been nice for there to be a fan there because the living room wasn't air conditioned. The huge common balcony is nice - looks over the restaurant and the lake. However it's also next to a major road so while it was pleasant to be able to sit outside, it is quite noisy. The good news is that once you close the doors inside it's very quiet Overall, I'm glad I stayed here instead of a hotel. It was a much more relaxing, chill experience. My Uber ride was an inexpensive 10 minute ride to the airport. Which was probably quicker than if I had stayed at a hotel and took a hotel shuttle.

Clean room and bathroom. Loved the common room where we could make tea & coffee

The B&B is in a great location, overlooking a lake, and there is a restaurant right there to enjoy good food and music. The common room in the B&B is cozy and comfortable, with a nice deck overlooking the lake. We were in the upstairs room, which was very spacious and well decorated.

There were no staff, it was self check in and there was coffee, water, juice and yogurt in the common area. The bagged “lunch” was in your room, it had an apple, orange, banana bread, chocolate chip muffin, small granola bar and a krispie crunch. The website did not say that the restaurant was not open 7 days per week. It is an easy walk to the grocery stores and local restaurants. The mattress was awful, it was so soft you sank into it, I slept on the floor. The noise barrier to the upper suite was non existent, you could hear everything, thank goodness they went to bed early. Being so close to the airport was perfect.

A very enjoyable stay at The Fourth Lock. It was a great location for exploring the area and has a really good restaurant on site. We were made very welcome and Jay could not have been more helpful. There are only 3 rooms, ours had access to a balcony with a view of the lake. Breakfast is provided as self-serve with a good selection of cereal bars, fruit, yoghurts, fruit juices and best of all, home made muffins :-) Coffee and tea making facilities are available in the shared cosy lounge, which also has views of the lake. We can't recommend The Fourth Lock highly enough and hope we have an opportunity to stay again in the future,

I appreciated that the owner let us check in early, and the coffee area and yogurt juice water are appreciated. My negatives: bed very uncomfortable with a terrible mattress, no insulation so sound from other guests very noisy, other guests talking until very late on the deck was very inconsiderate, we had to be up at 5 and they were up till well after midnight. I woke up with a sore stiff back and no sleep and quite grumpy (my husband not impressed at all). Also the bathroom sink is plugged.

Good room and location. The breakfast was a decent one.

The facility was spacious. The emailed instructions were simple and easy to understand. We never saw any person associated with this venue. I am sensitive and allergic to mold. I’m confident I smelled mold in the bathroom. We saw a bald eagle across the lake! Awesome.
