Good stay at Port Blair

A budget hotel, about 2kms from the airport. Room and bathroom adequate and generally clean. AC worked when power was on! fan was noisy. There is a school right next door so from 8am there is alot of screaming children all day long. Also the power tends to fail everyday in the evening so no AC until it comes back on! Although Wifi was available it works fine at reception but in my room which was about 10 metres from reception and the wifi router was literally on the wall adjacent my room, the wifi reception was very poor in the room. if I stood by the door, reception was fine, if I moved to the bed, reception was intermitent and kept cutting out! There wasn't much in the way of resturants close by, 15-20 minute walk to an area with some resturants. Check out is 8am, which I feel is very early! personally, I would not recommend this hotel, nor would I stay here again.

The reception guest attendent and owner were very helpful and guided a lot to make the whole experience of Andaman good. The rooms were clean and good after being upgraded. One of the good hotels to stay at Andaman looking for cheap and best options. Food quality was also best and cost effective with outside rates. A big thumbs up for the same.
