This property is a great place to stay before boarding on a cruise at the Port of Civitavecchia. It is only about 7 minutes walk from Civitavecchia train station and 5 minutes walk when taking the free shuttle bus to the cruise terminal. There are plenty of restaurants around the area. Our room was clean, spacious, and there are cold drinks in the fridge and coffee/tea available as well. They have pastries for breakfast. The bathroom is nice too but there is no hair conditioner. Overall, we enjoyed our overnight stay in this property.

Francisco was awesome. He helped us get settled and made taxi arrangements for us. Service was excellent. Location was wonderful. We would stay here again when we come back.

Thomas and Francesco we're super friendly and helpful. They help arranged transport from the airport and then to the cruise port. And suggested wonderful places to have lunch and dinner.

Excellent location, right across from a museum! The owner Francesco is wonderful. Greeted us at the door and gave us all the information we would need for the day and also transport to our cruise ship. A lovely clean room with a nice little breakfast in the morning. Thanks Francesco!!

I'm not too sure where to begin! Do I start with the fact that Francesco is an absolute gentleman? Do I start with the fact that Museum Guest House has an excellent location and so spotless? Do I start with the fact that the service my wife and I received was second to none? Ladies and gentlemen do not look anywhere else for accommodation for pre cruise or a holiday this IS the place to stay in Civitavecchia, trust me! Our train from Reggio Calabria was delayed, we arrived later ,much later than we had expected to. Francesco contacted us and requested that we call him when our train arrived into Civitavecchia. Francesco then gave us directions as to where the accommodation was located. Well guess what? Francesco along with one of his staff totally suprised us. He had walked from the accommodation and met us whilst we were on our way to the accommodation. They then carried our luggage all the way to the accommodation. This was around 9:30 at night! This gentleman went over and above. We have not received such EXCELLENT service in 6 weeks of travelling around Europe. One other thing for what it is worth ... Francesco was the ONLY person out of all the places we stayed that gave us a receipt for the tourist tax! THANK YOU Francesco! 10 out of 10!

We loved the Museum Guest House. It was in a great location. There was alot to do around the area and alot of great places to eat. Thomas was wonderful and they were very attentive and kind. The room was very clean and the refrigerator was stocked with water, soda and juices. We also had assorted pastries along with other things to eat for breakfast. We definitely recommend staying here.

The odor from the cleaning materials was so strong that it was difficult to breathe. Fortunately, we could open the window to bring in fresh air.
