I never bother with reviews, but this place was really outstanding in all aspects.

I was very impressed and glad I chose a place closer to cruise terminal. The best was there was a hop on hop off stop 100 feet away, so I could easily get to the Acropolis and other sites.

Room was clean and comfortable but a little smaller than expected. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I have 2 main complaints, one of which the hotel can’t really control. Our room was facing the street/ water and it was so loud. You could hear everything until all hours of the night and we didn’t get any sleep. My second complaint is that the rooftop dining was closed for a private event. This was very disappointing since it was one of the reasons I booked a room there. We were not informed of this until we arrived.

Beautiful hotel. He rooms were small but well appointed, bed comfy with lovely linens. The staff at the hotel were super accommodating and helpful. The rooftop restaurant/bar was gorgeous. We were only there one night but we would definitely go back.

This was our first stay at The Alex, and we will be back. We travel with our small dog, and The Alex is pet friendly. It's a beautiful boutique hotel near the port of Piraeus. The rooftop bar and restaurant were excellent, as well!

Great service and very efficient aircon

We always enjoy our stays at The Alex Monte Kastella, having visited many times this year and in past years. The view of Kastella is absolutely beautiful and makes every visit special. The staff are amazing, always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel is stylish, clean, and comfortable, and it truly feels like a home away from home. We highly recommend it and look forward to coming back again.

Lovely hotel, look forward to staying again

Whenever I book a cruise that is not leaving out of New York I always come in at least one day early. This cruise I stayed at The Alex Hotel and it was wonderful! Ten minutes car ride from the port, clean hotel, bed and hot water was great. Staff was very accommodating even before I arrived. Set up a taxi before my arrival so I didn’t have to worry about a thing after an 8 hour flight. I would recommend this hotel hands down.
