Beautiful unique property, all staff absolutely fantastic

The staff of this hotel truly make it a 5 star experience. From the welcome drink and delicious cookie to the incredible breakfast it was a fabulous experience. My only negative was the small closet and lack of drawers in the room, otherwise it was a perfect stay in a beautiful room.

Excellent! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Such a beautiful property right in the heart of Porto with the most amazing, helpful and courteous staff. Would highly recommend to anyone, and will hopefully be back again!

I cant say enough great things about this very chic and elegant hotel. We were made to feel.welcomed from the start and the details in the hotels presentatiom and style arw so beautiful. Claudio was wonderful and really made us feel lile royality. Of all the boutiques hotels i have stayed in, this was by far the best. Thank you!

Rooms and services were excellent. Especially staffs (Joanne, Bruno, and all others) are attentive, professional and kind. All of the questions we asked came back with correct replies. Their hospitality made our stay - 7 nights - the most memorable and comfortable.

The room was beautiful. Loved the hotel theme of Portuguese literature and authors. The hotel staff makes you feel like a VIP. Everyone is accommodating and pleasant. The welcome drink of port was excellent. So too was participation in the advent calendar for the holiday. Beautiful hotel. The free Fado concert they have the guests was wonderful. Turn down service with chocolates nice. Breakfast delicious. The most amazing hotel and stay of all of our travels around the world.

The hotel and room were beautiful and clean and the staff wonderful. The breakfast was fantastic too. I can’t imagine a nicer and more accommodating stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Torel Palace in Porto! The location is great, the rooms and entire property are gorgeous, and the service is top notch.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated so well by the lovely staff. Bruna was awesome. She knew we had spent a night in Porto before checking in to the hotel and yet she gave us a map and outlined must see places and gave us restaurant recommendations. The other 5 star hotel we stayed at never bothered. Every time we walked into the reception area the staff stood up out of respect., Russ was also fantastic! The hotel’s breakfast was excellent. Each room represents a writer or poet and there are books throughout the hotel and hanging creatively from the ceiling in the reception and library. We will definitely come back and stay here again.
