Lovely place to stay and very polite and helpful

The location is good, the rooms are lovely, the pub and all the staff are great and the restaurant / food was super.

I love this place. It’s so charming when My Husband took me here when we first started dating. I thought it was such a magical enchanting quaint place nice place to eat the food is delicious. The room is clean. The bed is comfortable. Definitely we stay there again.

Beautiful pub with rooms and staff were outstanding. Our rooms were really well appointed and clean. The food was good but we were a little underwhelmed with our meals. Salmon main dish was dripping in very salty miso and soy sauce. Restaurant was v busy and we were advised that there could be a wait for food. Breakfasts were fantastic though we had to wait a ridiculously long time for our food on the second morning. Only one person serving and one chef creates quite a problem! All in all we would recommend as a lovely quiet place to stay.

After meeting our friends and spending an evening in Cambridge we returned to the crown and punchbowl for a night cap before bed and and found the bar was shut up and all staff had gone home. It was 10.45pm. So our evening ended quite abruptly. Our room which was on the first floor, was a little on the small side, with only a skyline window, and unfortunately the blind didn't keep the light out, so it was very bright at 5am. Also I feel the pillows could be better quality. We have stayed at the pub before and would try and request a ground floor room again as more spacious. But overall a very nice peaceful stay and would recommend 👌

Small, cramped characterless chalet room looking out onto pub beer garden with associated noise for just short of £150 per night with not even a breakfast thrown in I would describe as very poor value indeed. 1/10

Great from start to finish!

Excellent short stay. No hassle

I was given room 4, no toilet roll and the bathroom smelt really badly of urine. I told the bar man and he changed my room . One thing I noticed from both rooms that they are looking very tired and need renovating. For a £100 for a one night stay mid week I would expect far better. The bed was comfy though .I wouldn't stay again...

The staff were brilliant and made our stay so enjoyable. Food was excellent both for the breakfast and evening meal. Our Room was cleaning and comfortable with a nespresso machine, premium teabags and fresh milk available from a fridge in the landing were welcome additions. The pub felt warm and cosy was festooned with lovely Christmas decorations. I thoroughly recommend the Crown & Punchbowl when visiting Cambridge, especially as a half hourly bus service into Cambridge stops just across the road.

Nice pub in a small village right next to Cambridge. There are only 9 rooms. Ours was pretty small but comfortable. It’s perfect for a small stay near Cambridge. Staff is lovely and the food at the pub is really good.

Very convenient for north Cambridge and the Science Park

We stayed on Sunday evening and arrived to a warm and cosy atmosphere. Our room had every we needed. It was quiet and all we could hear was bird song. We had that evening in the restaurant and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The beef roast was amazing. We stayed for breakfast on Monday morning and the selection and quality was excellent. We had a lovely stay and would stsy again, thank you.
