Traditionele look aan het hotel. We hebben tijdens ons verblijf niemand aan de receptie gezien. We werden bij incheck geholpen door iemand die beneden stond. Locatie van het hotel is fijn en we konden parkeren voor de deur.

Vriendelijk personeel, mooi ingerichte kamers; het ontbijt is eenvoudig

The air in the bathroom was terrible, not fresh.

Lovely staff. Comfy, clean room. Gorgeous terrace out front. Easy parking. Close to all attractions.

Very authentic old building with friendly staff and a nice terrace to have breakfast on. The bathrooms could use some renovation (door wouldn’t close fully) and a proper cleaning (mold in the shower corners)

The staff were very helpful. The hotel was very clean. The restaurant downstairs had delicious food. We loved that we could walk to restaurants and shops. There were a lot of dogs barking outside of the hotel in the middle of the night but that’s out of the hotel’s control. Parking was a little bit hard but the staff was helpful in assisting us.

Beautiful room, comfortable bed, ok breakfast, near the core of the center

Just under the foot of the fortress hill. Walk 10 minutes you can get the impression of the old town. Very good location

The room is clean and good. The toilet is average and small but does the job. Overall good experience, and it's in the heart of Berat city. So that we can walk and enjoy around the city.

Staff so friendly and helpful. Beautiful woodwork with wood ceilings - so gorgeous! Parking in front of hotel. Walking accessible to all old town sites. Great price!

Friendly staff welcomed me to their clean and comfortable hotel. Spacious accommodation, great food, and very good location so everything was an easy walk, even up the hill to the Castle!

Très bien placé au pied de la route menant au château. Magnifique chambre avec beaucoup de charme conforme aux photos. Quelques désagréments à l'arrivée avec une personne quelque peu désagréable.

So let’s start with the good stuff. The hotel certainly looks great and the location is perfect for exploring the historic parts of Berat. The rooms were quaint and the breakfast decent. But the positive review unfortunately stops here…. The staff was, well uninspired must be the word, and we felt like we were “in their way” most of the time. Examples: We had coffee and water on the terrace (which is great) but could not pay by credit card as the amount was “to small”, any souvenirs shop would gladly accept card payment for smaller amounts. We lacked toilet paper which required multiple requests and more than an hour before we could finally pick it up ourself from the reception. There must have been a paper shortage as the toilets at the restaurant was also out! And a mess. Staff was taking up tables in the shade on the terrace, on staircases etc for smoking, sitting in the waiting area of the reception chatting and ogling us when we went by etc. Our rooms were not turned down either. A great hotel on paper, but found lacking unfortunately….

Nettes Hotel in einem antiken Gebäude. Große Zimmer mit antiken Möbeln und modernem Bad. Parkplätze vor der Tür. Zentrale Lage. Frühstück ist OK. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

The hotel has a great location, near the bottom of the hill leading up to the castle but out of the busyness of the streets at the river level. The rooms are spacious and nicely styled and the breakfast was ample and varied.
