U can eat n buy in a walking distance around the hotel, many restaurants, small shops outside

Room carpet looks very dirty (old), toothbrush, slipper, and others were not provided until call and ask, in the second day, staff still did not refill. Everytime need to wait for 15mins.

We arrived there at 11 o'clock and they tried by all possible means to let us check in earlier. The bed was so comfortable and cozy. The private beach is free for the lodger, and it's about 30 minutes away by their free shuttle bus. That was a great beach with astonishing view! All in all, it was a memorable stay and we all had a good time over there.

Do NOT stay at this hotel! The Doubletree by Hilton at Aqaba was a huge disappointment. I reserved a Nonsmoking King Superior Room with Sea View. The room was not Nonsmoking and the Sea View was extremely limited. I was placed in a room directly over the pool restaurant, which was full of smokers and incredibly loud. My room reeked of smoke, although smoking is banned in restaurants in Jordan. Additionally it was set far back because of the pool, which significantly impeded the Sea View. I complained to three staff members (Karmen, Abdel & Mustafa). None of them did anything to address my issues. They replied with platitudes (“We will never let this happen again”) and always closed their notes with “Let me know how I can be of further assistance” although they provided no assistance at all. On my last evening, after 5pm, the hotel manager texted to say they had a new room. I was literally packing up to leave. A feeble attempt to fix all the issues when my stay was near complete. Stay somewhere else in Aqaba! I went to dinner at the Movenpick and it was beautiful. I wish I had stayed there instead. I am a Hilton Honors member and an Expedia VIP and was treated like dirt. I wonder if this is because I was the only American staying at the hotel.

The sea was partly visible from our room and the back up staff service was above par. Breakfast was very good. Good location and decent 5 star hotel. Will stay here again.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Aqaba. The hotel is clean, well-organized, and the staff are very kind and helpful. The location is also very convenient and makes it easy to get around. One small note: it would be great if the hotel could enforce a stricter no-smoking policy to ensure a more comfortable environment for all guests.

Staff were very nice and friendly. They tried to help as much as they could with our queries. We weren't aware of ghe beach club options beforehand, which wpuldve been nice to be informed about prior to our arrival. All in all, a decent stay and good breakfast.

We have had the very best time at Doubletree Aqaba. The location is amazing, the room was clean and comfortable, and the service was superb - Ellen, Vickie, Jean-Pauline and Rose in the restaurant deserve a particular mention for going above and beyond to make us feel so welcome, giving us travel tips and engaging brilliantly with my children. Chef Seab in the kitchen was also fantastic, asking if we had any special requests for the buffet. We absolutely loved our time here, would not hesitate to stay again, and would highly recommend!

A few months ago, we visited this hotel to visit Petra, the reception offered an early check-in which removed our worries. After check-out, we could spend time in the pool before our taxi came to pick us up. Very convenient hotel!
