A nice boutique hotel with great staffs. Location close to old town. Bed is comfortable and breakfast tasty. Two minor issues with my single room. First being no wardrobe. Second the bathing area is too open and water do spill out and wet the floor a bit.

Truly an incredible stay - pristine, beautifully decorated hotel with a large and very comfortable king bed, easy Uber to nearby tourist attractions. Freddy and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, massage was wonderful, and breakfast was swiftly prepared to order. Cannot recommend highly enough, a gem. Would absolutely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. We had one of the large rooms at the front which was stunning - very spacious, with period features and a fantastic view of the Basillica. We enjoyed the warm welcome we received after our 11 hour flight, and soon felt right at home. We ate in the restaurant one night and had room service another, both of which we enjoyed. The roof top terrace was lovely in the evening with its stunning view, and the team were really helpful arranging an early breakfast for us when we needed to set off early for a tour to Cotopaxi. It’s about a ten minute walk into the old town, and we had no issues with security etc. All in all, a great start to our 3 weeks in Ecuador - we were delighted with our choice.

The location is very convenient and easy access to everything. The rooftop has beautiful views of the city and cathedral. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout.

The classic look of this well preserved mansion, warm and helpfull service and all the amenities you can hope for in this central but private location. Perfect place for couples and solo travelers who want a quiet comfortable oasis after a busy day.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had the Amazon (luxury) room and it was great. Loved the bed ! Firm and really comfortable! Soaker tub and complimentary wine was also nice. Freddy in the restaurant and all staff were great. We walked to centre of old town from the hotel within 10-15. We felt safe in and around old town Quito. Previously we were in Brazil, so this was a nice change. While elevation isn’t super high (2800m approx) we did get altitude sickness for about 18 hours. We dint expect it so we didn’t take medicine in advance, but when we did, it helped. Breakfast was nice. Pretty simple but nice ham & eggs, etc.

This hotel is so friendly. It's a very small hotel that trips you like a member of their family. Fair warning, the single rooms that don't include breakfast are low budget. it's a closet, but once I upgraded (<$50 a night for the upgrade) it was a double bed, nice bathroom, and it included the breakfast (which is nice). The biggest thing this hotel has going for it is the staff! I arrived at 3am, and they knew when I was I going to get there, and they were waiting for me . They serve breakfast, and have a restaurant, but I never took advantage. There are some very nice restaurants within a block from them (get the lasagne at the Italian restaurant close to it).

Cons- Lots of street noise, big buses and traffic all night right under windows. No heat or AC. Maid came into my room even after I requested privacy. I didn’t like the food at all. Limited choices for breakfast. Pros- Freddie was very nice and helpful. It’s a beautiful renovated mansion. Historic

Great accommodations with a friendly staff

Room was very clean, charming and comfortable. Interior of hotel is quiet. Rooms on front are much more exposed to street noise during the days. Hotel was very accommodating and arranged for transportation from airport and on to our next destination in Mindo. Breakfast was cooked to order, plentiful and delicious. We ordered dinner one night and it was excellent too. Rooftop offers gorgeous views.

The property is beautiful...rooftop area to relax. Enjoyed breakfast overlooking the garden. The staff were wonderful.

The luxury rooms were VERY comfortable and nice! Breakfast was amazing and the location is perfect for walking the city!

The staff were lovely and helpful. The room exactly as advertised. Unfortunately the location right on a very busy road meant disturbed sleep due to loud traffic from bases and large trucks at 4 am.

This hotel is a fantastic place to stay. It is a small family owned business close to everything. The management is very friendly and helpful, anything you need they will do everything they can to help you. The food is equal to a gourmet resturant. If you have a special need or request they will do everything they can to accommodate your needs. Definitely the place you want to stay when your in Quito.
