If accommodation is all you need...then this is the place for you. Except for the security personnel on the beach, no one else acknowledges you unless you ask.

Stayed previously on my last trip. Comfortable, huge bed, hot showers and right on the beach front, not much more I could ask for. The staff were helpful with my questions. Would recommend as a bargain considering key location on 7 Mile beach, and all amenities in close distance around it.

My second stay here in 2 months and again I was not disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel.

Traveled with kids and adults; stayed here based on a recommendation from a local friend. I would not recommend anyone staying here if they have small children: the main issue was that multiple guests including our direct neighbors smoked weed throughout the day and night. I inquired about the hotel's policy from the receptionist, who told me they don't allow smoking on the property. I mentioned my neighbor and said how the smoke comes into our room every time you open the door, which also meant we couldn't use the amenities such as the porch seating area. Later that day, the neighbor directly confronted me asking if I'd complained about her. This was very uncomfortable; the hotel should have enforced their policies without making me look like the one who complained! Trash throughout the property in the bushes, bottles and cups from the beach washing into the ocean. Pool water was cloudy. We didn't get housekeeping the entire time we were there; a family member in a different room said cleaner had come by to ask if he needed cleaning but we never received this service. We also found previous guests' trash in the room including sand brushed up behind the nightstands. The chef was helpful and friendly. The place has potential, the lush tropical vegetation and the location are amazing.

This is potentially a nice property however it would require some additional upkeep and repairs to get to its full potential. Mattresses are somewhat thin and the towels and sheets while clearly clean are off colored due to their age I would presume. The location is ideal for Negril, but the property itself leave something to be desired. It would also be nice if there was a bit of music in the pool area as well as a television set by the bar, particularly during the World Cup season. That said housekeeping does keep the rooms very clean and the staff was very accommodating.

Overall good experience

We had a really good stay at Negril Palms. The location is hard to beat, right on Seven Mile Beach with beautiful views and a very relaxed atmosphere. The grounds were well kept, and we always noticed staff working to keep the property clean. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and made us feel at home from check-in to departure. This isn’t a luxury resort, but that’s part of its charm. If you’re looking for a laid-back beachfront hotel with a genuine Jamaican feel and great value for money, Negril Palms is definitely worth considering. We enjoyed our time there and would happily stay again.

Well run small property. Considering the effects of hurricane Melissa all staff were present and ready to help.

Room was not properly cleaned and it’s such simple details. That housekeeping is missing like the windowsills is crazy.

This property had the potential to be excellent with all the palm trees, the name was ideal (Negril Palms). Upon arrival, right by the door entrance is machinery covered with blue tarp. Hence, the first impression implied ‘we don’t care’. Our family were attending a funeral, and 11 members stayed at Negril Palms. It was shocking that we all had similar experiences. The rooms are spacious, but with very poor care, and the room cleaning staff pay no attention to detail. No amount of laundry will get the rags and towels back to white, a full replacement is needed even with the shower mats for the floor. With industrial strength chemical, the commodes staining can be easily rectified, but you only have to care about your guests experience. On a good note, the kitchen staff saved the trip, Miss Samatha we thank you for the excellent breakfast services. Not sure we’ll be repeat Negril Palms guests, or recommend it to friends or family. Please take the opportunity to improve this exceptional property.

I found this hotel to be perfect for what i was looking. Right in the beach, small, helpful staff. Room was cleaned and towels changed everyday. I will stay here again!
