A very stylish hotel with a nice bar for dirnks in the afternoon or night time. We stayed in the suite and the room is spacious with a nice jazucci facing the entrance of the castle. I agree with some of the comments that that lighting is quite dim inside the room and it will be desirable to have an few extra lambs. Other that that i am generally satisifed with the price compared to other hotels in the same vicinity.

Clean, nice, great stafff

Great hotel for our stay in Kyoto. Staff was very friendly and happy to help with suggestions on places to see or go. Close walk to transit. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Love the cool design of the hotel. I booked the bigger room, layout was sleek, great amenities, bed is comfy. The room was a bit dark though, the lights above the TV cabinet didn’t work. It’s just next to Nijo Castle and you have lots of small restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Zona un po' fuori dal centro, non sono presenti ristoranti vicino. Lato positivo: fermata metro a 2 minuti a piedi. Personale cortese ma con il quale si fa fatica a comunicare perchè non parla l'inglese. L'hotel non ha servizio di colazione, ci ha suggerito dei posti in zona che si sono rivelati chiusi fino a tardi o per i quali è necessaria prenotazione. Nella prima camera assegnata si sentiva un forte rumore provenire da fuori (probabilmente un macchinario/generatore), sembrava che per loro fosse un rumore sconosciuto (mi sembra strano che non avessero mai ricevuto lamentele a riguardo). Ci hanno assegnato una nuova camera nello stesso lato del palazzo, si sentiva un pochino meno il rumore, ma c'è stato per tutto il soggiorno. Tornassi indietro: a Kyoto meglio alloggiare in hotel che fanno parte di catene internazionali, le quali offrono un certo standard, hanno personale che conosce l'inglese e ti riescono ad aiutare in caso di bisogno.

Hotel is located in front of a castle, not far from a lot of local restaurants and just a few stops away from Kyoto station. By far the best hotel we stayed at during our 2 week stay in Japan accross Kyoto, Tokyo and Osaka! 100% recommend

二条城前の景色が最高でした。

早割でかなりお得に予約ができたと思いますが、お値段に対して非常に満足度が高かったです。お部屋はシンプルモダンなイメージで、とても落ち着けました。一番小さいタイプのお部屋だと思いますが、窓が2方にありとても明るかったです。洗い場があるお風呂だと思っていたのでその点は残念でしたが、バスルームのデザインは素敵で気に入りました。もう少しデスクの奥行きがあるとパソコンを使いやすかったのですが、作業がある時は1階ロビーに移って広々したところですることができたのがよかったです。立地としても二条城前でバス停にも地下鉄駅にも徒歩1ー2分、ホテルを出ると広々した道路が広がっているのがとても気持ちよく、散歩も楽しめました。 できれば、朝食を希望する場合は何時までに連絡など、どこかに提示があるとよかったかなと思いますが、それ以外は大変満足して過ごせました。今度は、二条城ビューのお部屋に泊まってみたいと思います。

電話の対応が海外の方の対応でとても話が通じてないように感じました。 部屋はとても綺麗でデザインもとても素敵です。
