LOCALIZAÇÃO: a 3 ou 4 quadras do Malecon 2000, uma região movimentada, mas que, apesar do policiamento, merece atenção redobrada. a sensação de insegurança nas ruas em Guayaquil é perceptível. ARREDORES: muita comodidade por perto, restaurantes, lojas de roupa, cerca de 10min do aeroporto, cafés, pontos turísticos. QUARTO: espaçoso, com boa cama, ar-condicionado central, mas sem janela. CAFÉ DA MANHÃ: estilo continental, servido no restaurante que fica ao lado, me pareceu ser do mesmo grupo pois carrega o mesmo nome da hospedagem. suco, café, leite, chocolate, ovos mexidos, pães, etc. STAFF: extremamente simpático e atencioso, típico do povo equatoriano, fizeram o possível para uma estadia tranquila.

Hotel Las Peñas, a simple 2 or 3 star hotel. I was given a windowless room. It didn't bother me. The hotel is centrally located with an abundant commercial area. Makes it a big plus. The breakfast, included in the price was of scramble eggs, 4 small pieces of bread, a choice of 5 different natural juices and coffee. Good enough for me. Many thanks to the servers, Aurelio and Wellington for their fantastic service. Not only to me but also to the other guests. My room was spacious. The only thing missing was a night lamp. I didn't like the shower head. You can't adjust it. The wifi was shoddy. Lots of buffering. The reason may be the password is for everyone in the hotel. The A/C was great! The staff was wonderful. Always courteous and helpful. I don't know if the staff speaks English. I interacted with them in spanish. Overall I'm very happy with my stay and yes I will comeback. Thank you Hotel Las Peñas.

Hotel com muito boa localização.

Estuvo bien el hospedaje, las habitaciones en buenas condiciones de higiene, el personal muy amable con su atención pero el precio de los insumos en recepción es un poco alto es el único detalle que no me gustó mucho, las personas que atienden en el restaurante muy atentos y buen servicio lo recomiendo mucho

El desayuno no estuvo listo sino hasta las 8:30 am, y la bulla exterior es muy fuerte, hay personas en condición de calle que se quedan en la esquina del hotel y sudan mucho ruido hasta altas horas de la noche.

The breakfast was excellent.

Only discovered the A/C button by accident after sweltering a good portion of the night. Breakfast served in restaurant adjoining hotel - scrambled eggs, 4 petit pains, jam, butter, coffee, juice. Everything was served fresh. Not the best breakfast as far as variety but sufficient to start the day.

Perfecto todo

First, I must commend the location. It is fantastic, offering easy access to many attractions in the center of the city. Being so close to 9 de Octubre, Malecón 2000, and Parque de las Iguanas made my visit very enjoyable. I particularly appreciated my room, which had huge windows that let in a lot of natural light. Additionally, the air conditioning worked well, providing a comfortable environment for my stay. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff also made a positive impact on my experience. However, I noticed that the hotel appears a bit rundown in certain areas. I believe that a revamp could greatly enhance the overall experience and make it an even more wonderful place to stay.

Debe mejorar. Las habitaciones descuidadas. Toallas en mal estado. Cortinas de la.habitacion muy disfuncionales, opciones desayuno... Un solo huevo y cafe. No colocan agua bebible en las habitaciones, sabanas amarillentas..

This hotel was fine for a two night stay between the Galapagos and mainland portions of our trip. The area is fine but, like most of Guayaquil, I wouldn’t recommend wandering at night.

Las Penas is our go to place whenever we are in Guayaquil, which is several times each year. It's a welcoming property with friendly, helpful staff. It is centrally located in downtown Guayaquil in easy walk to the Malecon, restaurants and other attractions.
