An absolutely stunning hotel but let down by poor communication.
I booked a room on red level for the benefit it offered. On arrival, I went to check in, was told it won’t be long at all. Then waited an hour and a half while checking multiple times how long it would be. Was then told that they were giving me an upgrade to another room and that’s why it took so long. Turns out it was actually due to them having the red lounge closed for renovation but did not communicate this to me in advance. I spent over $850 for one night for my husbands birthday and was let down.
The whole check in process was awful.
The pool and outdoor areas are absolutely gorgeous, so nice to walk through. Unfortunately they were removing tiles outdoors so a lot of banging and crashing was ruining the serenity.
Room was good however the air conditioning in the bedroom did not stay cold. Bathroom vanity is unsealed so looks very dirty due to water stains.
Buffet breakfast and dinner was amazing. Food was delicious. So many options available.
