The location of the hotel made it easy to walk to eateries and attractions. All the staff were very courteous and helpful. Enjoyed how modern the rooms and overall appearance of the hotel is.

Will stay here again and again! I can’t say anything bad about this place . The room was unique , CLEAN, the service was fantastic, the location was optimal , and I can keep going . We were gone most of the day so I can not say much about the food there .

Toller Aufenthalt

My fiance and I booked this hotel for 8 days in Porto. We booked one of the rooms with a hot tub and balcony, and we did not regret that decision at all. About the room: The room was spacious, airconditioned, clean and nicely decorated - the toilet and shower were seperated in the end of the room where the closet, sink and mirror were, there was a desk/work station, and the bed was big and spacious with a big TV in front that had ChromeCast as well. The hotel: Staff was friendly, the roomservice/food was actually really tasty (we ordered a grilled steak one night and were very pleased), the breakfast buffet had a great selection of food and ingredients for a mimosa ;-) The indoor pool wasn't huge, but there were not a lot of people, so no problem. There's also showers/changing rooms and a sauna. We did not use the fitness room, but it looked nice. The location: Perfect - 3 minute walk to Bolhao Market where you can get an icecold glass of wine to sip from, while exploring the many food stalls with tasty tapas. We also went to the Bacalhau restaurant within the market (1st floor) and it was absolutely amazing! In general, you can walk to everything you want to see in Porto from the hotel.

Great hotel to stay at, very centrral, incredible service, beautiful lobby and rooms. would highly recommend. Oh an as a couple i would recommend the rooms with the hot tubs

The stay was wonderful. The staff were well informed and helpful. Morning breakfast was excellent and full of wholesome options. The showers in the bathroom can be a bit slippery even with the special grip mats. But I never had an accident so all in all would stay again.

Great location to main attract.

Very modern hotel with wonderful service. Only suggestion would be to get the bar fridge colder - the drinks never really got colder than room temperature.

What a lovely place! Great location, close to the Mercado do Bolhao, but in a quiet area. Easy to do a walking tour from here. Staff were all very professional and kind, full of helpful tips, and willing answer all of our questions since it was our first day in Portugal. Rooms were aesthetically pleasing, very clean, well stocked. Indoor pool was refreshing after a day out in the Douro Valley. The WiFi was smooth. Hotel breakfast was delicious and fresh with fruit, veg, European and American options. The staff even helped us find a doctor when our daughter was sick. Highly recommend BessaHotel Baixa! Can’t wait to come back in the future.

Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer sauber und gut eingerichtet. Was gefehlt hat, waren Haken zum Aufhängen von Handtücher o.Ä. Der Spa Bereich finde ich zu klein, sowie auch die Sauna. War jeden Tag überfüllt. Auch das Gym ist für die Größe des Hotels zu klein, zu wenig Geräte.

The hotel was fantastic as well as conveniently located.

Amazing level of service from all members of the team, this really stood out from other places I have stayed, very accommodating to all requests where possible and a real benefit having secure underground parking.

Quiet, spacious, comfortable beds, and steps away from shopping and restaurants!

Meget flot Hotel beliggende blot 5 min. gang fra Gågaden. Stille og rolig beliggenhed i en sidegade. Flot arkitektonisk indrettet med check på detaljen hele vejen rundt. God morgenmad og flotte værelser. Hjælpsomt personale. 20 min. gang til Ponte Luiz og Vila Gaia.

The room was very comfortable. We had dinner twice in the hotel’s restaurant and the service was impeccable.

Everything was perfect, especially the staff. Would highly recommend.
