This is an amazing property with amazing staff !

Die Vingerklip Lodge liegt einzigartig und man hat einen wundervollen Ausblick. Die Gegend ist auch für Hikes geeignet. Unbedingt empfehlenswert ist ein Abend im "Eagle's Rest" Restaurant.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an der Vingerklippe, ein Träumchen. Die Manager sind deutschsprachig, es gibt auch viele deutschsprachige Gäste. Das gesamte Personal war sehr sehr freundlich, wir haben uns wirklich wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft hat einen ganz besonderen Charme, sowohl die einzelnen Zimmer als auch das ganze Gelände.

Lodge in un terreno immenso, pieno di formazioni rocciose spettacolari. Check in con drink e possibilità di prendere torta e thè. Per arrivare alla suite si sale a piedi su una rupe per una decina di minuti, le valigie salgono tramite una funicolare e vengono portate in camera. La cena è in un piccolo ristorante in cima alla rupe, chi vuole arrivarci deve salire prima di cena e poi deve scendere dopo cena mentre se si pernotta nella suite si raggiunge con 2/3 minuti di passeggiata. Carne cotta sulla griglia buonissima. La suite è isolata, vista spettacolare sul lodge e su formazioni rocciose. Camera ampia e con wifi. Spazio esterno attrezzato con ombrellone e lettini, c'è anche una jacuzzi. Vedere il tramonto è spettacolare e al mattino la colazione viene recapitata direttamente in camera. Il lodge ha tantissime parti comuni, palestra, piscine, padiglioni dove rilassarsi.. gestori super gentili e cordiali. Possibilità di fare percorsi di trekking nei dintorni. Davvero consigliato.

Lovely property grounds surrounded by natural beauty. Buffet dinner only option but good. No closet space or storage in room however.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt

One of the most beautiful settings for a lodge we have ever experienced - like an African Monument Valley, with nothing around you outside of the lodge. Great views from the chalets, plenty of wildlife on the property (rock hyrax, birds including lovebirds). The walks on the property were very nice, especially the one taking you up to the lookout.We had dinner included which was great, so was the breakfast. The only negative was some of the staff - you could tell they were not happy to work there or had some other issues that we could feel as guests. Understandable, but not professional. This is not a general statement though, we also met one of the friendliest staff members during our trip here.

Es war der schönste Aufenthalt in unserer 4 wöchigen Rundreise. Diese Lodge muss man einfach erlebt haben. Die Landschaft ist atemberaubend. Der Sundowner und das Abendessen im Eagles Nest wurden zum unvergesslichen Erlebnis.

Es war wirklich wunderschön! Dir Atmosphäre ist wirklich bezaubernd und der Ausblick ein Traum. Das Essen war ebenfalls wirklich sehr gut! Alle waren liebevoll und nett!

Fabulous place. Run on solar power. Great room and balcony/outside space. Staff are all very helpful. Special shout out to Steph for helping us book activities before we arrived. Dinner at the Eagles Nest is a must. Views are worth the climb!

A propriedade e o hotel são incríveis, belos e muito bem cuidados. Com várias opções de trilhas. Tem um waterhole em que animais vem beber água (babuínos, kudus, zebras, javalis). Os funcionários são prestativos e amáveis. O restaurante é ótimo, servem carne de caça também. O quarto é confortável e limpo, com linda vista. O wifi funciona apenas na área geral. Sugiro aquecimento em uma das piscinas para ficar perfeito.

This is a wonderful property and hotel. We stayed on top of the plateau in an incredible cottage called “Heaven’s Gate”. It is a bit of a trek to get to and from but worth every bit of the effort. Has a lovely wood fire heated spa, total seclusion, and incredible outlook. There is also a smaller restaurant on top of the plateau which we ate at each night. The hotel at ground level is also terrific.
