Very clean, comfortable and convenient to train for an early departure.

Excellent hotel for a 1 night stopover . Close to the motorway and a couple of reasonable restaurants nearby.

A very convenient place to stay on the way back to the Channel Tunnel. The rooms are comfortable with an ingenious bathroom “pod” similar to what you may find in Ferry cabin or Campervan. On street parking, in BLUE parking bays (Parking Bleu) from 18:00 is free until 09:00 and between 12:30 & 14:00. One and a half hours free parking is also allowed if you purchase a “Parking Disque” from the Bookshop close by. Secure Parking IS an available on request but I understand there are very few spaces, I think 3(?). Breakfast has a nice selection including boil it yourself eggs! The number 4 bus will take you from the station to the City on the hill or it is approximately 5 minutes by car. The Cathedral and Medieval streets are interesting with a LOT of history and there are nice places to eat, including the hotel opposite the Cathedral.

Lovely modern and exceptionally clean Hotel. Great location, secure parking, Air Conditioning and friendly helpful staff.Room prices are very reasonable.

Clean and friendly

This is a small hotel, centrally placed close to the train station. The room was compact but spotlessly clean. The lady at reception was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental with a good choice and fresh. Limited time street parking is outside the hotel (but unlimited overnight)

The hotel was spotlessly clean everywhere - bed was super comfy and shutters make the room totally dark so sleeping was easy - very quiet despite being near the railway- parking is very secure and car stays cool in the garage - staff very friendly and helpful - breakfast was lovely.

Comfortable, modern, well appointed room. OK breakfast. Friendly staff. Well situated for nearby restaurants. Able to leave car in rear car park. Also able to walk/climb steps to the old town.

A very clean and well quipt hotel situated in a love location just walking distance from Laon cathedral. AC in rooms.The staff is lovely and very friendly. We'd definitely come back to this hotel again.

Bonjour, Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour à l'hôtel du Tramway de Laon. Nous remercions l'équipe de l'hôtel pour son accueil chaleureux. Nous avons pu obtenir une chambre pour personne à mobilité réduire, compte tenu que nous sommes dans cette situation. Un grand merci à l'équipe de l'hôtel.

The staff were especially friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the help with our motorhome parking. Room’s were clean and ideal for our stopover. The area is okay, a lot of kebab shops instead of restaurants, but we found a good local restaurant up by the cathedral. Location was great - right at the bottom of the stairs to hike to the old town.

We had a warm welcome to this hotel and despite an initial worry about its location, found it quiet at night. The rooms are clean and attractive - all we needed for a night’s stay. It’s a climb up to the lovely old town but well worth it . We would stay here again.

A comfortable, modern hotel. Large comfortable bed, nice white linen & towels. Very friendly, efficient & helpful staff. Central location close to restaurants. A lovely old city.

A perfect one night stay. Immaculately clean and a short (uphill!) walk up to Cathedral, old town and restaurants. Excellent garage and 6.30am breakfast if an early start is needed. Cannot fault anything - thank you very much 🙏

Easy to find. Not impressive from the outside but recently refurbished, new shower and generally in very good condition. Helpful receptionist who also provided a good breakfast. Perfectly suitable for a one or two night stop. Parking in front of hotel, paid for from 09:00 but that wouldn't matter for one night with an early-ish start. Fast food joint down stairs so youngsters hanging around but they were no problem and the car was safe. A drive from the medieval town - otherwise a very stiff walk up steep steps.

The hotel appeared to have had a recent update but the rooms were quite small. There were not man6 dining options and Laon seemed very quiet for a Saturday night. Boulangerie nearby opened very early Sunday morning and petrol station nearby. Recommend for an overnight stay before channel crossing
