We had a friendly welcome to the hotel. The owners took time to chat, which has not been the norm. It is very secure with inside parking. Car washing was offered. We didnt get the triple room that we had booked, but the room offered had a huge double bed in a spacious room that was sufficient for our needs. The bathroom was large with a bath and shower. Separate toiletries would have been useful. It was all clean and tidy with good linens. The outside porch was a nice place to sit. Breakfast had some variety and was taken in a pleasant dining room. The hotel itself is a great place to stay for a day or two, but dining options are restricted to fast food and a mediocre restaurant.

Man hat Privatsphäre und kann sich dennoch jederzeit an die Gastgeber wenden. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Frühstück war sehr gut.

Goede tussenstop op weg van Windhoek naar Mata Mata. Bij de buren is het goed dineren.

Eine kleine, sehr persönliche Unterkunft, die eine angenehme Gelegenheit für einen Stopp zwischen Namibias Süden und Windhuk bietet. Großes, sauberes Zimmer, ordentliches Frühstück, sicherer, nur etwas enger Parkplatz auf dem Gelände. Gutes W-LAN, die nahe Hauptstraße ist zu hören.

Great stop-over location. We are repeat visitors.

This was an excellent little place to stay en route to the Fish River Canyon. It was well presented and the breakfast was excellent. Hosts were pleasant. Bed comfortable, lovely new bathroom and decent shower. There isn't much to Mariental but the supper we ate at the restaurant over the road was decent. The entrance to the hotel isn't well signed and if you are foreign, as we are (therefore without a mobile), it was difficult to attract the host's attention to get the gates open.

Easy to find and check in. Lots of useful local information was given. Room was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The garden and rooms were elegantly presented, and the security of the grounds was reassuring. Highly recommended.

Für eine Transferübernachtung sehr gut geeignet

Zur Durchreise für eine Nacht geeignet. Wir waren 2 Nächte da. Leider konnte man sich nicht ohne Auto bewegen, da hier sehr sehr penedrant gebettelt wird. Selbst wenn man im Hof stand, wurde durch das Gitter angebettelt. Das haben wir nirgeds so erlebt. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit, auch die Eigentümerin!

Typische hotelmogelijkhied voor een nacht op doorreis van Windhoek naar ZA. Plaats heeft niets om het lijf. Goed eten bij de buren.

sauberes Zimmer und Bad, schattige Terrasse, Abends geht links die Sonne unter, morgens rechts auf. Frühstück super. einfach angenehm.

Tolles Guesthouse in Marienthal. Perfekt für einen Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg in den Süden. Grosses Zimmer, grosses Bad. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Anlage und Zimmer sehr sauber. Sehr nette Betreiber und hilfsbereite Angestellte.

Katastrophe. Wir standen vor verschlossener Tür. Am Hotel angeschriebene Telefonnummern nicht vorhanden. Wir mussten und notgedrungen etwas anderes suchen. Hotels.com verweigert Die Erstattung ohne Begründung.
