Being able to stay in a classic style coffee "plantation" inn with casual style was a pleasant surprise. Comfortable, clean rooms surround an interior open-air courtyard; a traditional long lawn leading up to the house provided grounds for outdoor dinner parties and gatherings. An open air dining room serving reasonably priced "prix fixe" dinners ($25/person) allowed for great conversation and time to relax. There is a pool as well. The friendly staff greeted us and provided immediate attention to our requests. We stayed in room 5 which offered a private veranda where we enjoyed room service and cocktails outside our room. The location sits amidst coffee farms and a roastery nearby. The road leading to the inn was a bit rough in places but well navigable. If you are planning a safari, I highly recommend this location as a jumping off point as well a return spot as we did.
