Only negative thing we experienced was the AC was not working.

It was clean and safe

Gran evenia location is superb in the center of the shopping and restaurant also it was easy for transport especially public transport. The staff was incredibly friendly even the custodians that clean the rooms. The front staff and the door men was excellent in the way the carried themselves diligently of the work that they do. Let me not forget the restaurant staff also willing to assist when asked. Errors were not the people but the building its becoming erode by wood lice please attend to it before it gets to late. And also when the cleaners came to clean they forget to sweep the wood lice from the doors

Misleading Description and Poor Service I was very disappointed with my stay at Hotel Gran Evenia in Panama City. The hotel advertised a pool, which turned out to be closed with no prior notice—a major letdown since it was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. When I raised the issue, the staff told me they would assist me, but then simply left for lunch and never followed up, while I waited for them. Their attitude was unhelpful and dismissive, and despite several attempts to contact them again, I never received any response. This experience fell far short of what any guest should expect. I would not return and do not recommend this hotel.

Would definitely stay here again. Rooms were pretty & comfy, parking was convenient, and breakfast was the cherry on top

We enjoyed 3 days at this lovely hotel. The breakfast was lovely . The resteraunt service is good the chef messed up one night but we enjoyed other places. The pool is relaxing. Staff are very helpful. We will stay again as we visit panama city regularly.

This place was “ok”. It is small. We accessed our room from the outside hall so it felt a little downmarket/motel-ish. The decor is retro so the hotel feels updated. It is cute inside and the food is good. It was tough to get an extra pillow. The pool was CLOSED at 7pm on Friday night so the kids never were able to play in the pool. It wasn’t awful but we will not stay here again.

Check in was good room is clean comfortable. Breakfast was good ! Dinner was sad ordered the most expensive angus steak Not good !! Was neither Angus steak or cooked medium rare. Toughest peace of meat ever . We come to panama city for fun after 5 months living here. Expected a good quality . Service is good. When we complained they said would pass it off to manager. I mean if you advertise Angus steak and dont have it in stock say so. Offered us a free desert but passed. Two more night stay here so will try different resteraunts in the area.

This was my first time trying out Grand Evenia, and let me just say—I had such a great experience! The staff is top-tier and incredibly pleasant. Their breakfast bar is the perfect blend of European and Spanish flavors. Housekeeping always kept things fresh (if that’s what you prefer), and OMG—the rooftop bar is such a vibe! My only hiccup was not having a microwave in our room, so we couldn’t heat up leftovers. Outside of that, I’ll definitely be back!

All was just great, the best breakfast ever! Comfortable beds, clean bathroom, big tv, modern decoration, great entertainment live music, very convenient location. The only observation is that floor room was not cleaned every day.

Not sure this place is 5 stars but was happy with my stay.

Firstly this is not the 5 star property it claims to be! It’s decent but a little rough round the edges, for example the wiring for the TV and mood lighting in our room were exposed and the cardboard packaging for the flat pack furniture could be seen underneath where they couldn’t be bothered to unpack it properly and cut around it! There’s a pleasant rooftop pool but it’s quite small and not as good as the photos portray it to be. It’s fine when there’s nobody else using it. Only 2 loungers and 2 sunbeds so it’s a lottery whether you’ll get one. The bar opens late afternoon and then there will be music blaring out from it. Breakfast is basic but passable. There’s scrambled egg and sausage/backon, toast, pastries, cheese, fruit and yoghurts. Some of the pastries looked liked they’d been baked in an incinerator 😂 Overall it’s decent value for money, just don’t expect too much.

January 23rd 2025 10 am At breakfast 9:00 am there is no service for cleaning tables or dispatching clean cutlery you have to do it yourself, even with two waiters around, 10:00 am at the desk check out Mr Alrron I think is his name, in a very funny way he tried to do as slow as possible he could as I ask for a receipt for my company of my staying he took 15 min to deliver a sheet with the information, it seems he don’t know how to read as the information was written wrong, this hotel is new and the reception personnel that hired for the frontal desk are incapable to perform a service job for their customers, I think that’s how you end a good fortune to it’s beginning, my advice is to get ride of this reception personnel and find competent people who knows how to work with customer without been joking around like a clown, at the end with a cynical face smiling after let me waiting while he was watching at TV or anything else he could do outside his job deliver a piece of paper without envelope as I have to ask for one at least I was so furious that I didn’t check for the details when I go out later on Just find out he wrote all wrong in purpose, very stupid and immature attitude.

Had a 10/10 stay at this hotel. The rooms are excellent, the staff was friendly and decor was beautiful. Breakfast was also delicious every morning.
